[Vash is feeling a bit down. One friend got hurt and a couple others were mallynapped and he wasn’t able to do anything about either. Not to mention apparently there are quite a number of crazy people running around that he doesn’t have a clue what to do about. So what is a man from a world of cowboys to do? Go to the bar of course. Vash can be found at the bar with a glass of whiskey; he doesn’t look particularly pleased but is always open for conversation.]

[Remus is only in the bar because he hasn't been before, and he'd like to know the city as well as possible; he'd rather not drink before he knows how strong his sobering charms are

Vash catches his eye, because oh, he knows that look, entirely too well

he decides, then, that he can offer a distraction, and heads in the young man's direction]

How are the drinks here? [his voice is soft, and sympathetic]

[Vash turns with a smile.] Well, the Whiskey is pretty good and a friend of mine says they have really good hot drinks here too.

Hot sounds lovely. [and so he gets one!] Odd, how Luceti has the same seasons as Earth. I almost wish it forgot Winter.

Really? I kinda like it. I've never seen snow before coming here.

You could say that... it's a desert planet.

Well; there are a few spots where people have managed to grow trees and grass.

[Vash thinks a moment wondering how much he really wants to get into.] Well, we have some plants that are capable of creating water and the important things we need to survive.

[slow nod] I see. They must be very resilient, to survive there. Were they - [a pause, and a sheepish look] Sorry.

It's alright. It's not an easy life but it can still be a good one. We're working on creating a world of peace with no war. So everyone can live their lives in peaceful days.

[Smiles and takes a sip of his.] What's your home like?

...Very violent too, at the moment. [shakes his head] There's always a war being fault somewhere, and now it's our turn.

I'm sorry... I hope it ends soon.
