[Thanks to Yuber throwing his search party into the lake; Vash has found himself joining the ranks of the sick. Although he tried to change out of his wet and freezing clothes right away it was too late. So he’s in bed with a light fever. And he might have fallen asleep with his journal open.]

Rem… it’s so hot and dry… [There’s a bit of muttering] …you’d like her. Mmmhm. [Some rustling as he rolls in bed] saw one… so red.

[Then he’s quiet for a few minutes]

Ahaha! Are all those donuts for me!? Oh! You shouldn’t have!!

[ Okay, okay, she won't yell at him to wake up, but she's taking this as a sign for something. She'll go in, lay the cloth on his head, and then head out for a bit. ]

Hey, Vash... wake up.

[He blinks his eyes then sits up with a yawn] Something wron-[Oh hi there cloth! Blinks down at it as it falls into his lap. Hm… he probably should have noticed that sooner.]

[He scratches the back of his head with a small laugh] A little bit. Don’t feel cold anymore at least. How are you feeling?

I'm alright. I'm congested again, but some rest has helped me.

You talk in your sleep, did you know that? [ She sits on the edge of the bed, keeping whatever was behind her back at her side so it's hidden. ]

Mm. [ She takes the paper bag she's ducked beside her and hands it to him. ] You were asking for these.
