Has anyone seen a man who… well, looks like a clown? I saw him go into the portal but hasn’t come back yet. Also trying to find Miyabi who may or may not have gone through the portal. She’s a Poncle - really small and wears a butterfly cap. Everyone else that I know of who went in has already come back…

Damn! He's using magic!

[Vash may be tough, but Yuber could be chanting an Omega or even Tera level spell. It's time to fire. Kurtis sends the two fists spiraling toward Yuber, flying on rockets.]

[LJ notifications, you suck by the way.

And actually, Yuber's spell is a pretty weak one, one that looks far more powerful than it really is. And no, Vash's random question there doesn't stop the chanting, he can wait to answer the question.

Interestingly, he is quite capable of dodging even while using magic. Though one of those fists does graze him, but yet that still doesn't interrupt the casting. Or even look to have hurt him much.

It's definitely very pretty, though lightning does tend to hurt a bit. It's not impossible to dodge at least.]

The others? They live, unfortunately.

[And since LJ is being stupid, probably should try to end this soon, just need one thing, the group being somewhat close to each other.]

[Well this might help! That lightening doesn’t look good. Sorry Meryl but he’s a bit protective when it comes to supernatural stuff right now. He’s grabbing you to make sure you’re out of the way.] LOOK OUT!

[Vash, if you're protecting Meryl, someone has to look out for you. He doesn't like the look of that attack either, and makes sure he's in front of the both of you since lightning doesn't effect his body as much as it would someone with flesh.]

[And then he realizes he forgot about Kurtis] Kurtis-san!

[The fists are set to automatically float back to Kurtis, using a secondary booster. But he's not watching them, now, he's much more worried about the lightening.]

[He runs toward the others, but he's still hit by a couple of balls of lightening, and he's knocked to the ground near Brook.]

[And Yuber pretty much has decided that another form of chaos will be far more amusing for this time.

And they all got so nicely close to each other that this might just work. The demon is going to come at them with his swords making it look like he's going to attack, but instead the sand beneath them ripples much like water.

And the moment he's in there with them, they will all sink into it and that will bring them just above the lake, as agreed previously.

Yuber, however, quickly uses another teleport and is away from the lake before everyone falls in, and unlike the last time he did this, he's going to teleport into the forest out of sight.

This should do nicely, a bit of chaos of these people getting hurt and a swim in the cold lake, but they were hurt enough to know that he's a danger.

And that meant more would come that he could amuse himself with.]

[ Meryl yelps and flails her arms. Oh JESUS WHAT GIVE HER SOME WARNING VASH! ]

[Warning? How’s this for warning? You now have a large broom head of a man hugging you and SCREAMING in your ear as suddenly - WHAT THE HELL?! Where’d the lake come from!?] GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! [Splosh]

[Where DID the lake come from? Unfortunately between panic and surprise, Brook isn't able to react fast enough to just run across the water]

[ And she's screaming right along with the rest of them, though she'll be covering her ears with her hands so Vash doesn't deafen her. ]

[Hmmm. Meryl seems to be a good choice of flotation device. But man; water - COLD!!!!!!! Wait… why hasn’t Brook resurfaced yet?] Brook?! BROOK!? [What kind of pirate can’t SWIM! Brb… diving under to save the dead guy.]

[Hey, take it up with the devil fruit, Vash! That's a serious design flaw, there]

[It is very disconcerting to not be able to move. More so the be drowning when you don't have any lungs. OH HEY VASH. Yeah, you're his best friend now :D]

[Vash was quicker to react than Kurtis, and he seems to have a pretty good handle on things, so Kurtis just waits by the surface, ready to lend a hand if Vash needs it when he surfaces.]

[ Meryl CAN'T SWIM, TYVM Vash. So she'll keep flailing about as he dives under, somehow keeping herself afloat. ]

[Vash surfaces with Brook and… oh god… how many people does he have to save? Sorry Meryl! He didn’t know and Brook sank like a rock!] Geeze!? Can’t you swim insurance girl!? [Cause you know… when you live on a desert planet it’s an important skill. Either way; doing his best to get you BOTH to the edge.]

I'll get her!

[And Kurtis will be swimming toward her to help her out. He's a good swimmer, Prinnies are similar to penguins, after all.]

[Sputtering water for a second] Ah, thank you so much, Vash-san! For a moment I was sure I was a dead man!

[... Oh right] Yohohoho! Though I am already one!

[Looking over at Meryl now] Oh, can you not swim, Meryl-san?

[Vash does his best to hold both up and try to swim to shore until Kurtis can arrive.] Geeze you’re heavy!

[ She gasps and clings to Kurtis for her life. ]

[Kurtis starts for the shore, helping Meryl, but it's a little awkward.]

Well you were flailing about quite a bit. [A good indicator, that is!]

[Now that Kurtis has Meryl, the swim to shore should be easier for Vash. Brook is just bones after all, so he's light enough]

[Finally gets to the shore. Vash flops on the ground and sighs.] Gahhhhhhhhhhh who was that guy?

[Arriving at shore, as well, Kurtis sits down to rest.] I have no idea, but it seems there are more dangerous people here than I realized.

[ Meryl will kick her legs until they get to shore and lay out on her stomach, plagued with a headache. ]

It never stays quiet for long here, that's for sure.
