[This early morning the journals are treated to a sight, although it's not exactly a good sight. It's Vash standing in front of the mirror in his room inspecting his wings. Those who know Vash may or not be shocked by his horrible looking scars, as he stands wearing nothing but his pajama pants, but there is something different about him this morning. And it just might be-

A CAT'S FACE!

No, that's just a nearly grown Donut pawing lightly at the page of the journal. Eventually the young cat gets bored and jumps down to go rub himself up against Vash's leg. Vash, however, is far too busy inspecting the new bottom row of red feathers he's seemed to have gotten overnight to notice.]

Huh, that's different. I wonder if it will stay like that.

[Hm? Owner not paying attention to you when hungry? Donut does what his momma taught him. He reaches up and digs his claws into Vash's leg.]

OWWWWWWW! OW! ACK! STOP! STOP!

[He'll only notice that his journal is open when someone tries to get his attention or when he heads out for the day. For those that would like to run into Vash today he'll be headed out from House 5 and wandering the woods most of the day. He's out looking for Wolfwood, Milly, and any New Feathers who may be lost out there. He will take a break at some point in the day for some lunch at Seventh Heaven so can be found around the square then.]

[Well gee, that's something he actually has to think about. He doesn't remember being lost and he does sorta know vaguely where he is in relation to where he was earlier but you know the funny thing about amnesia is that it's really east for hm to get lost. This is something that requires contemplation on his behalf.]

[Okay then he won't. That sufficiently derailed his train of thought anyways.]

[Sigh.] Do you need to be shown the way back?

[it takes him a minute to get his thought train back on track before shaking his head no. He remembers where he is enough to go back... well... maybe not home right away but wherever he wants to go, really. It's not like he'd get lost forever and freeze to death out here. So it's cool.]

Okay then. Well, I know my way back too. So you don't need to follow me. Got it?

[There is a flash of recognition. He get's it!

...Sort of. Well, he understand what Vash means but he doesn't get it in the context of taking the hint to go away. Which would explain why he's not bugging off yet.]

[If Vash was his friend he'd keep following him like a baby duck, but considering he is still a stranger to him.... he doesn't follow. Though he'll watch him leave for a minute before going back home.

Will he get lost in the woods? Will he forget where he lives? IT WILL FOREVER BE A MYSTERY.... except no even if he did get lost he is very capable of living in the woods by himself.]
