[Vash had been having a good time his short time in Luceti. He loved the room Nicholas was letting him stay in. It was full of beautiful flowers and fun snow-globs. Only he needed to stretch his legs a bit more.

So out and about Luceti today. Exploring just about everywhere. The first thing he does is drop some random twigs and leaves off of the bridges to watch how fast they float away in the water.

When that gets old he'll explore in the item shop for awhile. Checking out all the fun toys to play with. He'll do his best not to make a mess, but sometimes that's hard when you're a kid having fun. He'll eventually clean up his mess and leave with a big red kick ball, a magnifying glass, and a toy boat.

The toy boat he takes IMMEDIATELY to the fountain, playing with that until his hands start to get cold. He starts playing with the ball, chasing it all around the square and bouncing it off things, until he trips and scrapes his knee.]

Ow! Ow! Ow! [He starts crying.] Ow! I broke my leg! Ow ow ow! OOH! It's bleeding!

[After that unneeded out burst he gives up on the ball and starts exploring with the magnifying glass instead. Of course he has to visit the flower shop and various places to eat to look at the flowers and food up close. When he runs out of those things to look at it will eventually lead him out to the forest to look for any spring flowers. With little success he'll open up his journal]

[Voice]

Um, is there anyone good at finding flowers? When do they start growing in the forest usually?

[Eventually the little boy grows tired and he'll finally head back home for the night. Settling into bed, feeling absolutely wiped out and ready for some fun dreams.]

[Crys was walking home from doing a little shopping when she noticed Vash and his bleeding knee. Naturally, she and her Meganium run over to see if he's okay.]

Oh no! What happened?

[Vash wipes at his eyes as he snuffles.] I-I-I I was ch-chasing my b-b-ball and-and-and I felllllll!

[Really, it's not a bad scrape. A little antiseptic and bandage and it will be fine.]

Here, let me see it. [She raises his leg up a little and looks at it. It's not bad at all. She opens her bag, pulling out a bandaid and antiseptic.]

This is going to sting a bit, but I promise you'll get better. [And on goes the antiseptic.]

OW! OW! OW! OW! It hurts! It hurts! Is my leg broken!?

No no, it's just a little scrape. [Putting the band aid on.]

It'll get better in no time.

[Vash rubs at his eye. Not feeling as scared now that the blood is gone.] R-r-sniff Really?

Mhm! I promise! So be strong, okay?

O-okay. I'll try.

[He wipes at his eyes for a minute. Finally noticing Meganium.] What's that?

That's good. [She looks back to Mega.] This is Mega! She's a friend of mine.

Hello Mega. [Pain totally forgotten in favor of the really cool thing here.] Are you a plant? I've never seen anything like her before.

She's a Pokémon. They're a species of animals in my world.

Oh! I like her! She looks like a big flower!

[... He saw that pretty spectacular fail by the fountain, and briefly mutters a curse under his breath approaching the fallen kid.]

Your leg isn't broken, kid. And be more careful!

[Sorry, Sanji, but that doesn't get Vash to stop wailing at all.] B-But it feels b-b-broken!

[It's a good thing Vash is a boy, then, since Sanji gives less of a damn about the crying. He does, however, bend down to inspect the bruise himself. Like he suspected, it's just scraped]

Tch. How can you know? You've broken your leg before? [His voice is calm, and suddenly his left hand starts glowing green]

[Vash has one had rubbing at one eye and the other is shut tight against the tiny bit of blood. He doesn't even notice the glow.] N-n-n-n-no! B-b-but it hurts! It h-hurts so bad!

Just bear with it for a bit. [Not much for coddling, this one, even when he places the hand directly over Vash's knee. The glow intensifies briefly; if Vash is paying attention, he'll notice the pain dissipate, replaced by a cooling effect.]

You'll be fine in a sec.

[Vash's sniffling slows just a bit. He's not sure what Sanji is doing, but it feels good. He opens his eyes and dares a peek down at his knee.]

Wh-what are you doing? [He still has the sniffles, but at least the sobbing has stopped.]

Healing your scrape. Just about done, too. [Another second and... there. Sanji pulls back his hand, and where there was once a cut is now nothing but smooth skin]

There ya go.

[Vash wipes the few tears still clinging to his cheeks.] It doesn't hurt at all anymore.

Of course it doesn't! I wouldn't half-heal your scrape. [Wasn't that big of a scrape to begin with.]

C'mon, can you stand? [Sanji gets to his feet regardless]

I think so... [Carefully Vash pushes himself to his feet, careful of his 'bad' leg. He'll slowly put his weight on it until he finally looks up at Sanji with a big old, not-quite-yet-patented Vash grin.] It doesn't hurt at all anymore!

[He nods, satisfied, at the same time picking up the ball Vash had dropped. With a quick flick of his hand, he sets it spinning on his upheld index finger]

Good. Now, try and be more careful or you really might break your leg next time.

Did you use healing magic to fix my leg. [Asked while staring hard at that ball. HOW YOU DO THAT!?]

That's right. The magic Nala-chan taught me. [MAGIC, VASH. Or just physics.]
