Personality: He's a guy who loves life and just wants to have fun! He usually comes off like a goof and a moron, but it's mostly just an act. He can be deadly serious when he needs to be and he has above average intelligence that he's using even when playing dumb.
Vash may be someone who acts as if no wrong is in the world and everything is perfect he is actually a very emotionally scared and frightened man. Every death is one he should have been able to avoid and every hardship is something he should have stopped. Even things that are beyond his control he sees as him having a cause in. However, to show how upset he is would cause other people pain. He’d prefer the fake smile and silly antics to brighten someone else’s day instead. At least on Gunsmoke, people seemed to always be getting hurt because of him. This heavy guilt is something he's been working on during his time in Luceti. The people around him there are not trapped due to an accident he should have stopped. People are also not getting hurt due to his brother's schemes. He's not completely better yet, but it's something he's been working on.
Otherwise on the surface Vash is a doughnut loving, sharp shooting, fool who’s favorite pastime is playing with children. He loves to drink but is wise enough to not drink himself into a stupor (even if he acts like he has). As shown in one episode where although he’s tripping all over himself and allows himself to be smacked in the head by his own gun he can still nimbly catch it without looking.
Although Vash is a sharp shooter he’d rather not use his gun. Turning down most body guard jobs. The less fights he gets in the less likely he is to hurt anyone. He only ever fires as a last resort. In the very first episode he actually throws his gun at someone rather than shoot him. Vash is an extreme pacifist who likes to see the good in all people. Even putting himself in bodily harm to give people the chance to prove that they can change
He also loves to flirt with girls but I believe it’s more because he knows it makes them feel at least a little good that someone thinks they’re nice looking. Most every girl can see though his act and either slap him or tell him off and he’ll cry - but if he actually got a girl to like him I think he’d find himself to be very shy. As shown in another episode where he fakes being passed out drunk when a mayor buys him some hookers. If Vash is going to be with any girl he wants it to be more than just looks. Even if they do have nice boobs.
Despite all the fun Vash likes to have, he can get annoyed and angry like most everyone else. More so with closer friends that he doesn't need to put up such an act for. There are some personalities that will rub him the wrong way. Although being the pacifist he'll either look the other way, or act weak in order to get out of a confrontation. Generally when Vash does meet up with a person he can't stand he'll simply look the other way and try to avoid them. Unless they are a danger to anyone. Then he'll find some excuse to keep an eye out to make sure they don't cause too much trouble. He's also been known to give a lecture on love and peace every so often.
Of course, as much as he'd love to, he can't act his way out of all situations. When Vash gets serious, he gets deadly serious. Minus the deadly part and he won't kill for anything. If he can he'd rather run from a fight, but if there's other people in trouble he'd stay and fight til the bitter end where his cunning, super human abilities, and sharp shooting are used to their full potential. Although, because Vash rarely ever takes insults seriously it usually has to be something physical or pretty nasty to push him this far.

luceti he got dropped off there right towards the end of the anime. Where he has just left the two insurance girls to face his brother.
He's been about two years in Luceti (taking him around Oct 2011) at this point and really hasn't changed too much. (At over a hundred years old it will kind of take a lot to change his core views.) The few things that have changed is he's learning that in places like Luceti it's really alright that he's not human and he was starting to open up just a little more with very close friends. Like Sanji and Nami from One Piece.

- Finds the Flower Shop and starts volunteering there
- During a search for people possibly missing in a desert, meets Yuber for the first time.

- His second experiment - fourth wall. He's upset by the missing days in his memory.
- Talks to Terra to get information on Kefka, someone who had been targeting his new friends
Jan 2010
- Involved in a massive battle that results in the death of Kefka, he's unable to stop nearly any of the fighting.
- While thinking over the events leading to Kefka's death is attacked by Yuber. He leads Yuber away from town, but is in the end killed by Yuber during the fight.
- Returns from the dead, with his sight missing in one of his eyes.
- Spends much of his free time, relearning how to shoot with his new depth of field from his one eye.
- Third experiment. Vash thinks he's a bounty hunter.
Feb 2010
- Aku threatens one of Vash's friends - which leads to the Straw Hats living at his and Meryl's place for a bit.
- Gets a prank love letter and by mistake thinks it's from Meryl. Ends up making a grand dinner for her.
- Valentines experiment. Vash falls in love with several people and gets pretty drunk.
March 2010
- Sees his first rain
- Threatened by Aku to steal a whip, the one item that can hurt him or that he'll kill Nami.
- Attempts to fool Aku into thinking the whip has been stolen and destroyed.
- Contacts the magical spirits in Luceti to learn some of their magic.
- Aku kidnaps Nami and Vash tries to talk him into releasing her as he has no way to actually harm him. It fails and he's unable to join the party to rescue her.
April 2010
- Rem arrives in Luceti.
- Vash is kidnapped for the first time by Malnosso for experiments. (Luceti's hiatus)
- Is returned by his kidnapping with his right arm broken in several places and mangled. Is healed by the Luceti healing magic.
May 2010
- Attempts to get Nami out of the house more after her abduction by Aku. For the most part it ends in an awful fight, but it's at least a start at getting her out.
- His friend Raven dies. He isn't told the reason.
- Affect by a player plot. Vash is sucked into a black and white dream world for several days. Most of the memories are wiped from he mind when he woke up.
June 2010
- Rem is sent home.
- Is kissed by Meryl. (It's a big deal to him!)
- Jack Sparrow gets lost in the dessert. Joins a search party to bring him back.
- Learns that Xion is going to be forced to turn into a monster and asks friends to kill her. Vash is against this, but in the end it happens.
- Ends up riding a tron bike and crashing into a tree during an experiment.
- Is taken forcefully on a draft from the Malnosso and is forced to fight in battle for them.
Aug 2010
- Earthquake hits Luceti. Crushes the flowers that Rem had left behind.
- Experiment. This time Vash thinks that he is an insurance agent and that Meryl is the humanoid typhoon.
- Wolfwood arrives in Luceti

- Vash has narcolepsy for a week due to a kidnapping
- Starts learning even more Luceti magic to get an edge on Legato
- Experiment. Vash ends up teleporting all over Luceti.
- Is taunted by Legato during the anniversary of the Big Fall for his murder.

- Halloween experiment. Vash is forced into a costume and sees visions and demons that are not really there.
- Ends up saving Legato when he finds him shoot and bleeding in the forest.
Nov 2010
- An experiment puts him into Yuber's body and also affects his personality to make him more violent. Then he accidentally teleports himself into Nami's room and gets his head smacked for it.
- Experiment continues, puts Vash into his own body, but flips his personality completely. He decides that he has to wipe out all the humans in Luceti by blasting it away. During this he hurts Meryl and nearly kills Wolfwood but is stopped by Legato who was also personality shifted.
Dec 2010
- Fourth Wall. Vash again not happy about the missing memories.
- Is kidnapped and returned to Luceti as a child (before SEEDs destruction) for several weeks.
Jan 2011
- Knives (from the manga) arrives in Luceti
- Vash is shocked by the different powers Knives suddenly has as Knives attacks him with it.
- Vash requests that his death penalty be removed.
- His penalty is removed, but leaves him blind for a couple days as he recovers.
- Experiment. He's turned into a donut.
Feb 2011
- Vash warns people over the network about Knives after learning he used the last experiment to try to find some of Vash's friends.
- Milly arrives in Luceti
- Vash is sent on another draft to fight for the Malnosso
March 2011
- Knives is sent home.
- Amelia (from new Trigun movie) arrives in Luceti
- Experiment. He's turned into an octorock from Zelda

- Experiment. This one was long running. During it he believed that he was married to Vivi from one piece and had a home together. Spent several weeks thinking they were newly weds trying to start a family.
- When the experiment ended, decided to avoid Vivi for awhile, but eventually has become good friends with her.
May 2011
- Teleported to the ocean as a joke by Yuber.
- Is saved from the ocean by a young child, Katie, who uses her "flick" power to send him back to shore.
- Livio arrives, but Vash doesn't know who he is. It proves that the Knives that was there was probably from another universe from him.
June 2011
- Vash is sent on another draft to fight for the Malnosso.
- Event causes him to forget his no kill philosophy.
- Vash shoots Legato, but Wolfwood keeps him from killing him.
July 2011
- Vash is kidnapped and returned as a literal human typhoon. Causing wind damages and spinning out of control wherever he goes.
- Rem arrives in Luceti a second time

- Experiment. Vash is forced in a frog costume and spends a few days begging women to kiss him and make him a prince

Abilities: Vash has an angel arm ability which is only activated while he's holding his gun, but this arm is able to wipe out a city of thousands with just the blink of an eye. Vash himself hates this ability and will not be willingly using it. If the mods would like it limited or just removed in any way I'm happy to do so!
Vash has super intelligence, speed, and strength. The strength mostly coming from his robotic left arm. His senses are also above what most humans would have. He's able to spot things from far off in the distance in the anime and just being hunted for the bounty often would require him to have sharp and quick sense/reflexives.
He is also a sharpshooter. He's used a gun for over a hundred years now, combine with his natural abilities he's hard to beat in a shooting contest.
Vash has the ability to recover and heal very quickly as well. Although not to the point that injuries won't leave scars and can't be deadly, but as long as he doesn't bleed to death Vash can be up and running again in almost no time at all.
Inventory: Vash has a gun, which being the setting of Gunsmoke is suppose to be from "old west" could contain metal. However, his gun is unique and in the anime his brother got it from somewhere in space. I'll leave it up to the mods if they'd like him to have it, but say all iron in it removed or play the: it's a my serious space gun with no iron gun. I'll be happy to play him with his gun or not. (Please note, that he currently can only use his Angel Arm with THAT gun, but I have no plans of him ever using it with express mod permission if he does keep his gun)
Another note, I like to head cannon (and dip a bit from the manga) that Vash keeps some strange things in his pockets. So feel free to nix any of these things.

Prose Sample: Vash rubbed at his stomach as it let out an annoyed grumble. Suddenly he felt himself missing Luceti and not for the friends he had left behind, but for the free food and just about anything he could want. What he really had a craving for was a batch of fresh baked donuts. Did anyone around here cook donuts? What kind of bartering would he have to do if they did?
What kind of work could he really offer here in exchange anyway? On Gunsmoke it had been so easy to just take up the random bodyguard job here and there. That didn't seem like a very viable option in this place. Besides the "pranks" that he couldn't stop himself, he didn't think people were in dire need of any bodyguards here.
He thought it over some more. Maybe he could give farming a try and offer the stuff he grows in exchange. It might be nice to work at helping something grow. Although he had no experience with growing plants past what he had learned at the flower shop in Luceti. Then again, how hard could pulling weeds be? Probably a whole lot easier on a full stomach. If only donuts also grew on trees.
Standing here wishing for it wasn't getting his stomach any fuller. He gave his appearance a quick look over. No stains or random bullet holes to be seen on his jacket. Hair still nice and spiky. Shoes... kinda dirty, but not bad. He took himself up to the very next house he saw and knocked on the door.
"Hello there! Won't you find it in your heart to give a poor, hungry stranger a bit of money or food? You see, I just got here and I'm absolutely starving! I'll be happy to pay you back in anyway I can! You wouldn't happen to have any donuts by chance would you?" Because if all else fails, there's always begging for food.

That didn't seem like a very viable option in this place. Besides the "pranks" that he couldn't stop himself, he didn't think people were in dire need of any bodyguards here.

Although he had no experience with growing plants past what he had learned at the flower shop in Luceti. Then again, how hard could pulling weeds be? Probably a whole lot easier on a full stomach. Standing here wishing for it wasn't getting his stomach any fuller. He gave his appearance a quick look over. No stains or random bullet holes to be seen on his jacket. Hair still nice and spiky.
