[Accidental Voice]

[The journal falls open just in time to catch a pained gasp, followed by some rather upset sniffling.] T-t-that hurt! B-but R-R-Rem said dreams aren’t s-suppose to hurt! It’s so cold. Rem! Kn-nives! [Finally the journal catches a glimpse of little Vash as he shakily tries to stand up in it‘s view. His trade mark spiky hair is gone. Instead it falls most the way down his back, but those eyes and that mole are the same. He‘s also severely underdressed in just the new feather pants. Look ma! No scars!] W-Where are you?! Joey? J-Joey, can you h-hear me?! W-what part of the s-s-ship is this?!

[There’s a pause as if he’s waiting for someone to answer, then he tries to take a step forward. Instead of moving his feet come flying out from under him and he lands hard on ice again with a frightened yelp. Once he gets his breath back the soft sobbing starts up again.] Rem. P-p-please help me, R-Rem. Where are y-you?

(ooc: Space and time? What is that? Whoever wants to run into poor Vash is welcome. He’s stuck out on the frozen lake!)

We aren't on a ship, young child. [Seeing him not going for the scarf, she slowly starts wrapping it around his neck.] Please, tell me your name.

[He lets you put it on easily enough - as he only wasn't putting it on himself due to the shock of seeing someone.] B-but we can't leave the ship! Rem says there's no air in space and we'll die if we go outside! [Wait a second... you have wings and we're not on the ship!?]

Am I dead?!

We aren't in space and you aren't dead, I assure you. I'm willing to explain, but we should get you out of the cold before you freeze.

O-okay. [He moves to stand and promptly starts slipping on the ice. He's about to fall! Do you catch him?]

[She does! Saber is fairly quick and catches him before he falls to the ground, holding him up by his arms.]

Be careful. It's snowing here, so there's bound to be some ice. [Trust her on this. That ice is evil man.]

Ice? [He might be clinging to you a bit as he's trying to get his feet under him.] Is that w-what all this s-stuff is?

Yes, it is. [She looks at him carefully. He seems so...frail.] If you're feeling too weak, perhaps I should carry you back.

H-how f-far is it-it? [Says the boy wearing no shoes and shaking like a leaf in the cold. ~~For mun is mean.~~]

I can get you to my home in a short two minutes. [Because hell yeah lightning fast speed always helps in these situations.]

O-okay! [Because warmth! YES PLEASE!]

[She turns around and kneels down.]

Get on my back and I'll carry you. Please be careful not to touch the wings too much. [Not that she couldn't take the pain, but she might be slower if she was being hindered by them.]

Oh. Ok-kay. [Very slowly and carefully Vash finally gets up onto your back, being VERY mindful of the wings.]

[Once she's sure he's on her back in a secure position, she stands up relatively easily and crooks her head slightly over her shoulder.]

Close your eyes and your mouth. I don't want you to get snow in them.

[She waits a few seconds for him to do so (or not) and begins running at breakneck speeds. To anyone watching, she would appear as quick as a bolt of lightning, as she moved through the forest and the village. Within a minute or so they arrive at House 9, where she quickly stops.]

Okay. [Mmmhmmm, you're so warm and it feels so goo-WHOOOA! He lets out a startled gasp at the beginning, then quickly shuts his eyes and mouth again. He's just going to snuggle his head into your shoulder.]

[Once they get inside the house she hurriedly goes into her room, but quietly. Neither of her housemates are home and the lion cub is fast asleep. She kneels down again and lets go of his legs.]

Alright, we're in my home now. It's not cold here, so you can walk freely.

[He carefully lets go. Whooa... that was a rush!] T-thank you! It's m-much warmer h-here! [He's still shaking, but he already feels so much better.]

[She notices the shaking and politely smiles] Would you like some tea? Shirou normally leaves a pot before he goes out.

Y-yes, p-p-p... [He nods with a shy smile.]

Wait in here. I'll be back in a moment.

[She leaves the room and returns a few minutes later, with a cup of tea under a small plate. She also takes the time to get out of her armor, afraid she would scare him if she magically did so in front of him.]

It's not too hot, but still be careful not to burn your tongue.

[He's very well behaved and stays put. Rubbing at his arms and trying to get warm. He smiles, feeling much better once you're back. He doesn't really like to be alone.][He takes the cup and at first just holds it, it feels so good against his frozen fingers. Eventually he takes a long, slow sip.] Mmmhmm! It's g-good.

I'm glad you like it. [She goes to the closet and picks out a blue sweater. It should hopefully be about his size, as her frame is also fairly small thanks to her immortal body.]

I'll give you this to wear for the time being. It should keep you warm while you're in here.

Are you sure you won't need it?

I'm sure. You need it right now more than I do.

Okay then. [He carefully sets his empty cup down before pulling the sweater on. He feels so much better now.] Thank you.

You're welcome. ...Tell me, what was the last thing you remember. Before waking up near the lake that is.
