[Finally the journal catches a glimpse of little Vash as he shakily tries to stand up in it‘s view. His trade mark spiky hair is gone. Instead it falls most the way down his back, but those eyes and that mole are the same. He‘s also severely underdressed in just the new feather pants. Look ma! No scars!] W-Where are you?! Joey? J-Joey, can you h-hear me?! W-what part of the s-s-ship is this?!

[There’s a pause as if he’s waiting for someone to answer, then he tries to take a step forward. Instead of moving his feet come flying out from under him and he lands hard on ice again with a frightened yelp. Once he gets his breath back the soft sobbing starts up again.] Rem. P-p-please help me, R-Rem. Where are y-you?
