[Vash is bored so he’s made his way to the square and is by the fountain. He’s got a large blue ball with him that he’s bouncing aimlessly. Anyone up for a game? Anything? If not you may also be getting a snowball tossed at you. Not just anyone; just those he knows or people who also look bored. He doesn’t want to smack someone who’s just trying to get groceries home.

Towards the end of the day he’ll be stopping by the store to pick up some eggs. I hope you like eggs, Meryl, as they’re for breakfast… after he’s dropped them on the floor due to training with them. You like floor eggs, don’t you?]

[Grins] See! I can cook! I had to eat after all while running around back home.

You have a point. I didn't cook for you, really, until those last days. Ah... [ Oh, she shuts up. She doesn't like remembering that she's still waiting for him, back home. ]

[Vash picks up on the sudden melancholy - NOT ALLOWED! So he’ll laugh as he sits down with his own eggs.] Yeah; but I think your cooking tastes better. [Grins] I like it when you cook. Means I don’t have to!

I do appreciate it... a lot. All of it. [A pause as he pokes at his eggs slightly.] Thanks Meryl.

[ What's that? The faint trace of a blush? She ducks her head a little and smiles. ] Y-You're welcome. It's no problem. After all, who else is going to take care of you?

[Teasing voice] What?! Are you saying I was doing a bad job before you showed up? [Because you know... everyone has things blow up near them.]

Maybe. [ She smirked a little around her fork. ]

HA! I was doing perfectly fine!

Whatever you say, Mr. Vash.

[Just grins and goes back to his food.]

Either way... it doesn't matter much, now.
