[Vash can be found just outside Community Building 4. He’s dressed in clothes that are a bit too small for him. He SHOULD be waiting inside for Luka who was kind enough to offer to find his coat for him. Except he just couldn’t keep his curiosity in check once making sure Meryl was back in bed and taken care of. He’s experimenting with the snow …and failing slightly. He’s TRYING to build a snowman but hasn’t quite realized you can PACK snow. So it’s just a pile right now.

What are you trying to do?

Well, after some advice he's getting CLOSER. Still not quite there. He's got the ball idea but not to roll them. So right now he's got a mound of mush with balls of snow he can't quite get to stay together because packing more snow around each ball to help stablize it? Naw... would NEVA work!] I'm trying to make a snowman... but it's a bit harder than I thought.

... [He lands on the snow and looks at the mound that is almost as tall as him, he's only about 15cm tall] This is a snowman? Aren't they supposed to be round?

[Wow... small per-uh, thing. Man this place is weird. But - possible new friend! IGNORES YOUR SIZE!] I think so... this is the first I've made... [UNLESS of course - you're counting his failed attempts in which case this is about his tenth.]

Oh, I see! Do you need help? [And reaches down to make his own very tiny snowballs.]

Hi, Vash! I'm Salt! A Sun Fairy! Eh? Why are you called the Stampede? Do you run very noisily? And how do you hunt peace?

Well... I guess I'm called a stampede because where I go things tend to... uh... ~~explode? crash?~~ fall apart.

As for peace it is very elusive! I have been chasing after it for many moons now, but I think I’m getting closer. And one of the best ways to catch peace is to spread it. So I do my best as I trail after it.

It looks like a kind gesture someone may make not expecting anything in return. It is giving a hug instead of throwing a punch!

It's teaching someone how to make snowmen when they badly needed and example!

I see! That sounds very easy to do! So you just have to go around doing good deeds?

Excatly! The best way to find peace is to spread it!

Me? A super herp? [Laughs] I dunno about that. Nope. I'm just Vash!

But you spread peace! That's what superheroes do! [And he starts rolling his snowball on the snow to make it bigger.]

[He spends a moment thinking about that] You're right! But superheros can't do things alone! Will you be a superhero with me?

Okay!! [And he's made a teeny, tiny snowman!]

[That... is the cutest thing he's ever SAW] That's an awesome snowman! [Finishing up his own - slightly larger]

[Oh, Salt looks so proud of himself!] It is, right? Yours is pretty good too.

You think so? It certainly came out much better with your help!

Really? [Eyes sparkling~]

Of course! [peers at his first attempt] Yup. This one is much better! [Nods wisely]
