[Vash was trying to just get from his house to the bakery in town, but he was noticing this was a little more difficult than normal today. Luceti in fact seemed a little... crowded.]

[Maybe he'll eventually get to the bakery... maybe.]

If we can make it there! Excuse me! Pardon us! I NEED TO GET THROUGH!

[Just walking along in Vash's wake, oh yes--]

[Hazzah! It's the bakery at last! Vash goes charging into the bakery and right up to the counter.] Give me twelve dozen of your mixed bag of donuts! [That's right. TWELVE. DOZEN.]

[And inside--] Vash, you're going to turn into a donut if you eat that many. [And he adds, belatedly,] Again.

I don't know! I don't think the Malnosso would do that again!

[scalethetower]

You never know... Among that many donuts could be the sole donut that will change you...forever. [Naoki goes for an ominous sort of tone of voice.]

[He stops eating for just a moment to stare at that donut in his hand. Then shrugs and shoves it into his mouth.]

[Pfff-- And Naoki dissolves into laughter again.] Eating donuts is your priority, eh? [Elbowing him playfully.]

Well, one out of an unlimited amount of donuts might turn me into a donut again! I'll take my chances.

So brave for the sake of donuts. [A grin, teasing.]

Hey! A guys gotta eat! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

Are you sure you're not just trying to eat all the donuts before any of the new feathers get to them?

[Okay, Naoki's just going to laugh along-- Silly Vash.] We're gonna have to roll you outta here...

Only if I turn into a donut. I've never had to be rolled out of a bakery before!

Really? [Feigning the utmost surprise!]

Of course! If I ate so much I had to be rolled out I doubt anyone would roll me back here the next day!

Of course! You always have to think two steps ahead if you want to stay ahead of whatever game your playing! Even if it's just to make sure to have your morning donuts every day!

The donut game. [Naoki nods very gravely--before a smile returns.] Are you gonna need help carrying all those donuts you got or are you just going to eat them all here?

Would you! It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to stock up so I don't have to go out in the crowd again!
