[Vash felt pretty crummy this morning when he woke up and realized he had once again fallen in love with another girl. Every year! How does he fall for it every year!? Oh man, he just knows Meryl is going to yell at him big time for this. Maybe he should just get it all out of the way, but man, she's sleeping in really late today.

He taps gently on her room door and peeks his head in.] Meryl? Are you up? Listen I- [Empty. Her room is completely empty. It couldn't really be empty could it? After spending almost a week in love and kissing the wrong person, she couldn't really be gone. Could she?

But the room is still empty. Quietly he'll find the Milly, Wolfwood, and Amelia if they're home to let them know before making a voice announcement.]

[Voice]

For anyone that knew her, I'm sorry. Meryl was sent back home. It's alright, she was in a very safe place there.

[Vash will be visiting Good Spirits shortly after. Wanting to let the workers there know of her return home in case they missed his message. Anyone who wants to find Vash can find him there, at the flower shop, or at home, but not the bakery today.]

Well, you can have lots of experience now! Do you have a favorite flower? We might have it here!

I don't really have a favorite, since all of them have a uniqueness to them...! But I think lillies are very nice to look at.

Oh, well we have lots of lilies if you want to start with those!

Really? I'd love to see them, then.

Yeah! They're around this way. Follow me!

[She nods and will follow after him enthusiastically, continuing to look at the other surrounding plants as well. She stops when she notices some smaller plants that don't seem to be doing as well.]

Oh, these plants over here don't seem as healthy as the others...

Oh, you're right. We should take care of these first. [Vash takes off the glove on his right hand so he can feel the soil a little better. There's a large scar on the back of that hand if she wanted to comment on that.]

The soil is a little dry. Maybe we could give them a little fertilizer and some water. What do you think?

[The scar catches her attention, and her eyes widen a little at it, but she's too polite to draw attention to it, instead focusing on what he said instead.]

-- Oh? Y-yes, I've heard that just a little water can help perk plants right back up, as long as it isn't too late.

I think they'll be alright. They were pretty healthy just the other day. Why don't you go get a watering can? They're right over there and you can fill them at that hose nearby it! [Vash goes ahead and puts his glove back on as he points out where she can find the can.]

[And she scampers off quickly toward the can and looks for the hose in question. She's hesitant with it at first -- not wanting it to start praying wildly, but it seems to be in reasonable enough working condition that she can get a reasonable amount of water in the watering can without worry of too much splashing. She's then certain to lift it up with both hands as she makes her way back over.]

Here we go, then. How do you judge what is just right for them...?

Just water it slowly. We want the soil to be moist, but not too wet. I'll tell you when to stop, alright?

Yes, Mr. Vash.

[She'll carefully move closer to the plants, starting with the one that looks the worst off of them. The can is a little heavy at first, so the initial one takes a little time before she can get into a comfortable position to pour, and she watches the soil carefully.]

Alright, that should be enough. Here, feel the soil and see how damp it is.

[She lowers the can and pokes her small fingers into the pot to check.]

Oh, I see now! It does feel moist without being muddy. It just has to go deep enough to reach the roots...

Brilliant! You're very good at this!

You really think so? Thank you!

[She'll try to do the next one on her own, keeping in mind the knowledge from the first attempt.]

[Vash watches with a smile. He could lend a hand, but she seems to be having fun doing it on her own. He'll just stand back and let her take care of the flowers, giving a helpful suggestion here and there when he thinks she could use a pointer. Not that it happens very often.]

[Raine does better with it than she expects to, and soon enough those plants at least are safely watered. Hopefully they'd start looking happier in time.

She sets the watering can down, and tilts her head toward Vash, expression much brighter.]

Well, I found some seeds at the item shop earlier today. We could plant them!

Really? Do you know what kind of seeds they are?

Nope! But that's prat of the fun of seeing what they'll grow into, don't you think?

LIke a surprise, you mean? I guess you have a point...!

Yeah! A surprise! Besides they won't have any chance to become flowers if we don't plant them, right?

That's true! Lets get started, then...!

Alright! Then go fill this pot with some fresh dirt! It's just over there, alright?
