[Early this morning the droids had swooped down on Vash during one of his regular trips through the woods. They came fast and hit hard so he had no time to give warning, but it's alright. As he was back by the afternoon, his journal falling open on the ground as he's returned. Only it shows a small boy with long, blond hair with a blindfold over his eyes, a pointy, party hat on his head, and a small strip of paper in his hand. The boy feels around blindly for a moment.]

Come on guys. Am I getting close? Why's it suddenly so cold. Knives? Rem? [A pause and he flails his arms a bit more.] ...Joey? Is this some kind of joke, because I don't really like it. [Finally he pushes up the blindfold.] Hey! This isn't the ship! [There's a pause, and suddenly a smile breaks out on the boy's face.] This is Luceti, isn't it!?



[He looks around, finally spotting the journal and quickly picking it up.] Hi everyone! The snow's all gone! I went home for a little bit, but now I'm back! Is Nicholas still here? Or Sanji?

[Then suddenly, his smile breaks into a pout.] HEY! I didn't even get a piece of cake yet! [That's just not fair!]

[Tiny Vash will be making his way to the village to explore everything again. He'll be sure to stop by the Flower Shop also the bakery and Seventh Heaven for food. Also the clothing store as his clothes aren't exactly early spring appropriate. He'll also play around the fountain for a bit. Feel free to run into him anywhere!

Of course, for the next couple weeks he'll also be staying at House 5 causing mischief for the Trigun members.]

Then let's go find some! [He grabs her hand as he moves towards the clothes store.] It's where I found all my stuff!

[Vivi lets him take her hand and lead her toward the clothes shop--luckily, it's not too far a walk.]

Did you get to have some cake for your birthday, then?

[chibiremlover]

Uh-huh! Milly made me a really yummy cake! [He pauses in thought for a moment.] It was really nice and yummy, but I still kinda wish I could have tried Rem's cake.

You still may. [She thinks. What with timelines and child versions of people, she can't pretend she completely understands. She hopes it's true, anyway, for Vash's sake,]

Yeah! People here last time said that time stands still at home and it really does! It's amazing!

Yes; that's what I've been told, too. [She gives him a curious look.] So you've been here before, Vash-kun?

[chibiremlover]

Uh-huh! It was a lot of fun and there was snow all over too! I got to make a snowman and EVERYTHING!

Was that your first time seeing snow? [Vivi holds open the door to the clothing shop and slips in behind Vash.]

Now. Where are the boots?

[chibiremlover]

Yup! It was! [But forget snow. There's puddles to jump in now!] I found mine over here! [The little boy goes running off, his long hair trailing behind him. Not bothering to wait at all to see if Vivi is following.]

[She follows, all right, and arrives at the boots just shortly after he does.] Hm. Now I hope they have my size...

[Though it probably would be fine if they were a little big, too.]

What size do you wear?

[sob, I have no idea]

[She tells Vash her size and starts to look through the boots.]

[chibiremlover]

[Vash runs up an down the boots, until he stops and checks out a pair of red boots.]

What about these! They're your size and they're red too! They'd match mine!

[Vivi smiles, quickly setting down the pair she'd found and turning to take the red boots from Vash.]

That sounds good. Thank you, Vash-kun!

[She takes a seat on a nearby armchair and pulls off her shoes, slipping into the boots.] Aha. [She stands again, wiggling one of her feet.] A perfect fit! Would you say I'm ready now?

Um, almost! You need a LONG raincoat! Hold on! I remember seeing one with flowers on it! But it didn't fit me. [There's a reason he remembers that one as he goes running off to find it again.]

[Vivi waits patiently, sitting back on the chair as she waits for him to return.]

[chibiremlover]

[It doesn't take him long to come running back with a long adult rain coat that has colorful flowers all over it.] Here! It was WAY too big for me!

[alabastajewel]

[Vivi stands and takes the raincoat from him with a grateful smile.] Thank you, Vash-kun! It's lovely.

[She slips it on and buttons it up.] There! Now I'm really ready!

[chibiremlover]

Yay! It's very pretty on you! [Although it may be the flowers he's more impressed with. Most boys who are only a year old aren't really interested in girls just yet.] Let's go play!

Thank you! [She nods, reaching down to take his hand--not that she thinks he needs leading, but this all has her feeling rather giddy and girlish, and it seems appropriate.]

Yes, let's! [And as they exit the shop, she starts running back toward home.]

[Vash is more than happy to take her hand. Giving it a small squeeze and looking up at her with a beaming smile.] Mmh! [He nods his head and takes off running, going at top speed to keep up with her longer legs. Splashing in any puddle he can reach without letting go of her hand.]
