[Accidental Voice]

[Early this morning the droids had swooped down on Vash during one of his regular trips through the woods. They came fast and hit hard so he had no time to give warning, but it's alright. As he was back by the afternoon, his journal falling open on the ground as he's returned. Only it shows a small boy with long, blond hair with a blindfold over his eyes, a pointy, party hat on his head, and a small strip of paper in his hand. The boy feels around blindly for a moment.]

Come on guys. Am I getting close? Why's it suddenly so cold. Knives? Rem? [A pause and he flails his arms a bit more.] ...Joey? Is this some kind of joke, because I don't really like it. [Finally he pushes up the blindfold.] Hey! This isn't the ship! [There's a pause, and suddenly a smile breaks out on the boy's face.] This is Luceti, isn't it!?



[He looks around, finally spotting the journal and quickly picking it up.] Hi everyone! The snow's all gone! I went home for a little bit, but now I'm back! Is Nicholas still here? Or Sanji?

[Then suddenly, his smile breaks into a pout.] HEY! I didn't even get a piece of cake yet! [That's just not fair!]

[Tiny Vash will be making his way to the village to explore everything again. He'll be sure to stop by the Flower Shop also the bakery and Seventh Heaven for food. Also the clothing store as his clothes aren't exactly early spring appropriate. He'll also play around the fountain for a bit. Feel free to run into him anywhere!

Of course, for the next couple weeks he'll also be staying at House 5 causing mischief for the Trigun members.]

[You know, Senri could notice right away that this new kid entering the flower shop looks suspiciously familiar to one of his friends. A friend that he happens to see there quite frequently.

But fortunately enough for Senri's brain, between being much tinier and having long girly hair he's more or less wondering if Vash had a little brother he just never knew about. Wondering so much in fact that he will pause from his duty of staring lovingly at the flowers to stare slightly-confused-but-mostly-curiously at the mini Vash.]

[Vash is a little too busy to notice the strange stares he gets. He runs back and forth between all the flowers. Gazing at them all lovingly for a moment before moving on. That is until he gets to the red geraniums. That's where he finally stops and carefully reaches out to slowly turn the pot. Wanting to take in every petal.]

[Yes and that is precisely when Senri will snap out of thinking mode and gently-but-firmly grab the flowerpot to stop the pot from turning. Because he is just a tiny bit protective of the flowers. Especially these flowers since they are a constant reminder of his first... well... technically second meeting with Vash when he learned how precious these flowers were and how to take care of them.]

[Vash looks up at the tall man a little confused. Last time he had been in Luceti and visited the flower shop no one had really stopped him from anything.]

I'm sorry, did I do something wrong?

[voice] for now. is Vash the puppy that follows Amelia home?

[Amelia doesn't reply right away. She's too busy staring at her journal, wondering what on Gunsmoke is actually playing on her page. Because everything from those names to that blonde hair and that goofy grin really only means this kid can be one person.

And that makes this all very weird.]

...Vash?

[voice] I could go for puppy!

[Vash stares at the book for awhile. Head tipping slightly as he looks Amelia over carefully.] I'm sorry, but I don't think I know you. How do you know my name?

[voice] so long as he's papertrained. ;)

[Well, that answers that. Amelia somehow retrains the desire to smack her forehead in "thanks" to the Malnosso, instead focusing on the kid.]

I'm a friend of Wolf--Nicholas. [And of Vash's, but that won't help much just now.] We live in the same house, actually. He's told me about you.

My name's Amelia. Are you okay? You're not hurt or anything?

[What's up, little Vash, you aren't the only one around the fountain today! Naoki seems to be heading there as well— Rather engrossed in reading something, it takes him a bit to notice someone else there, but.

Don't mind if he watches you for a few, Vash, blinking.]

[Vash is a little too distracted to notice the stares. This fountain has an awesome ledge that needs to be walked around! Not to mention that water! Once he gets done pretending to walk on a tight rope, Vash reaches in to splash at the water.]

AH! That's cold! [Not that the cold stops him from laughing and splashing again.]

[Heh. Naoki chuckles to himself, watching the antics.] Careful you don't wind up falling in, there.

[Alexei will be at the flower shop when Vash pops in there, though he won't recognize him at all. His mind was off somewhere else, still trying to get over the fact that Bellemere was gone.

Meanwhile, a certain black cat that was following him around did take notice of Vash. He seem rather confused, tilting his head to one side. He seem to recognize Vash, by scent but...Vash sure looked a lot different than he remember. Was this the same Vash?]

[Vash is amazed by all the flowers that greet him when he enters. He spends a few moments taking it all in before he spots Alexei. Ah-ha! An adult!

Vash makes his way over and shyly tugs at the man's cape.] Excuse me, mister. Do you know if they still have red geraniums here?

[Alexei glances down at the boy who was tugging him.] Geraniums...? [...Unfortunately Vash picked the wrong person to ask about flowers.]

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the different types of flowers. You would have to describe it. [Hermes will be circling Vash peculiarly for the time being]

[... The voice was only vaguely familiar, but the names he says are a dead giveaway. Wow, it's been a really long time since she'd heard Vash with such a young-sounding voice that she had nearly forgotten.]

Yeah, but this was my first birthday cake! So it was special! Rem worked really, really hard to make it special for us!

[I heard my name by a voice I know. Ooooh boy. How unsurprisingly surprising. He clears his throat, looking unsure about how to go about this; looks like the tables are turned on him.]

Nicholas, huh?

Yeah. [Hold on. Staring at the little picture of you funnily. There's something about you...] Do you know him mister?

[Lady in the kitchen with a mixing bowl out, some flour and some eggs, and reaching up for a big ol' bag of sugar. It is cake making time, because she is craving cake mix.

Don't ask. Pregnancy cravings do not require logic.

Whether or not she is going to end up baking the cake mix is another matter entirely but right now, she is happily derping about in the kitchen wearing a big apron and humming to herself.]

[There's a shy little boy watching you work. He's a master of stealth as he stands hiding half behind the door frame. He's not sure what you're making, but it does look like a lot of work. So after a bit of bravery coaching from himself he finally steps bravely out from the door frame!

Or so he thinks is bravely. More like he shuffles a little farther out from behind the door frame, but leans on it, ready to flee if he needs to.]

Um... it looks like a lot of work that you're doing there. Do- do you need any help?

[Well Milly wasn't expecting to see any little people in the kitchen, especially not little people she's not seen before.]

Where on earth did you come from sweetie? Are you lost?

[The voice on the journal is unfamiliar, but the childish pitch catches Vivi's attention, and she quickly takes a look. Hm. The blond boy isn't immediately recognizable to her either, but there's something almost familiar about him. Listening further, she hears him mention Sanji, and from the sounds of things, he's been here before, so it's with no particular urgency in her voice that she greets him.]

Hello! You're a friend of Sanji-san's? Do you need any help?

Yeah! I met him the last time I was here! Is he still around? I hope I get to see all my friends again!

[Vivi nods. So he has been here before. That makes things easier.] He is! In fact, he's a good friend of mine as well.
