[Early this morning the droids had swooped down on Vash during one of his regular trips through the woods. They came fast and hit hard so he had no time to give warning, but it's alright. As he was back by the afternoon, his journal falling open on the ground as he's returned. Only it shows a small boy with long, blond hair with a blindfold over his eyes, a pointy, party hat on his head, and a small strip of paper in his hand. The boy feels around blindly for a moment.]

Come on guys. Am I getting close? Why's it suddenly so cold. Knives? Rem? [A pause and he flails his arms a bit more.] ...Joey? Is this some kind of joke, because I don't really like it. [Finally he pushes up the blindfold.] Hey! This isn't the ship! [There's a pause, and suddenly a smile breaks out on the boy's face.] This is Luceti, isn't it!?

[He looks around, finally spotting the journal and quickly picking it up.] Hi everyone! The snow's all gone! I went home for a little bit, but now I'm back! Is Nicholas still here? Or Sanji?

[Then suddenly, his smile breaks into a pout.] HEY! I didn't even get a piece of cake yet! [That's just not fair!]

[Tiny Vash will be making his way to the village to explore everything again. He'll be sure to stop by the Flower Shop also the bakery and Seventh Heaven for food. Also the clothing store as his clothes aren't exactly early spring appropriate. He'll also play around the fountain for a bit. Feel free to run into him anywhere!

Of course, for the next couple weeks he'll also be staying at House 5 causing mischief for the Trigun members.]

Hey! Do you know how to swim?

I do, yeah. [He grins, questioningly.] Why?

If it warms up, do you think you could teach me!?

[He blinks-- Caught by surprise by the request, but soon he laughs.] Sure, why not. I've never tried teaching someone, but I can give it my best shot.

Really! Oh boy! I hope it warms up soon!

We're practically into spring, so it's not going to be too long now before it's summertime.

Really!? Do you think we could go swimming next week!? [That's how seasons work, right?]

Ah— I don't think it'll be quite warm enough by then. I think we'd need a couple of months, at least.

A couple months! But that seems so long from now! What if I don't stay in Luceti for that long!

[Hmmm, well—] I guess if you'd wanna learn right away, there are the hot springs, up in the mountains. They're warm all year 'round.

[Though you're not really supposed to swim in them, per say, and they aren't that deep... But bah, rules!]

Hot springs?

[Naoki grins.] Just a little body of water, not as big as lakes or ponds—the ones we have, anyway. But they're always warm. Nice place to go to for relaxing.

How come they stay warm all the time, is it magic!?

Heh, nah— Though you never know, it could be for Luceti.

But where I'm from it's 'cause the earth where the water comes out of is warm. So, the water is warmed.

Really? But the ground usually feels pretty cold to me!

Mm, well! In certain spots the water can get deeper down into the earth; and the deeper you go, the warmer it is.

Wow! Really? Is the ground hot to walk on too? Is it kinda like walking on lava?

Deep down there it probably is like that. [He taps the ground with a foot.]

[Vash looks down in utter amazement at the ground.] Wow... but isn't that dangerous?

A little-- But it's deep down enough you'd never even notice or think about it, usually.

Oh, so it's still safe then? Even the hot spring? You won't boil?

Nope, you won't boil. You don't wanna stay in too long, though, or you'll get all red.

I want to see these hot springs! They seem really cool!

Then maybe you'll get a chance. I could take you up there one day, if you'd want.

I'd like that a whole lot!
