[Accidental Voice]

[Early this morning the droids had swooped down on Vash during one of his regular trips through the woods. They came fast and hit hard so he had no time to give warning, but it's alright. As he was back by the afternoon, his journal falling open on the ground as he's returned. Only it shows a small boy with long, blond hair with a blindfold over his eyes, a pointy, party hat on his head, and a small strip of paper in his hand. The boy feels around blindly for a moment.]

Come on guys. Am I getting close? Why's it suddenly so cold. Knives? Rem? [A pause and he flails his arms a bit more.] ...Joey? Is this some kind of joke, because I don't really like it. [Finally he pushes up the blindfold.] Hey! This isn't the ship! [There's a pause, and suddenly a smile breaks out on the boy's face.] This is Luceti, isn't it!?



[He looks around, finally spotting the journal and quickly picking it up.] Hi everyone! The snow's all gone! I went home for a little bit, but now I'm back! Is Nicholas still here? Or Sanji?

[Then suddenly, his smile breaks into a pout.] HEY! I didn't even get a piece of cake yet! [That's just not fair!]

[Tiny Vash will be making his way to the village to explore everything again. He'll be sure to stop by the Flower Shop also the bakery and Seventh Heaven for food. Also the clothing store as his clothes aren't exactly early spring appropriate. He'll also play around the fountain for a bit. Feel free to run into him anywhere!

Of course, for the next couple weeks he'll also be staying at House 5 causing mischief for the Trigun members.]

[He giggles.] Do you mean Nicholas? You call him Nico? [That's so cute trying to picture it to the new, big Nicholas he's met recently.]

Oh yes. Nicholas is my husband you see. I call him Nico and he calls me Big Girl.

Hehe, I like Nico. I think it's a good name. I didn't know Nicholas got married! Wow... he really is a lot older than me now. [He's trying his hardest not to show it, but it's kinda sad to lose one of the few people he knew that was the same age- er... height as he was.]

That's alright Vash, you're only as old as you feel after all!

Do you want to help me make this cake? We're going to have to tie your hair back so it doesn't get in the cake mix though.

Wow, Vash must have been feeling REALLY old for a minute there <.<;;

Yeah! I want to help! And can I have a piece when it's done? Rem made me a special birthday cake back home, but I got sent here again before I could try any of it.

Oh, it's your birthday today? Many happy returns! You know what, we're going to have to turn this into a birthday cake, aren't we? What's your favourite kind?

You know somebody called Rem too? What a strange coincidence.

Well, I don't know if it's my birthday anymore! It's a different month here than it was back home on the ship!

Oh! Do you know Rem? AH! Is she here!? Maybe she's my Rem! What does she look like!? Does she have long, dark hair!?

[The boy actually jumps into the air, unsure what just went through the tall woman's mind.] I'm sorry! Did I do something wrong?!

[Gosh how did she not see it before. Silly Milly.]

No, no you didn't do anything at all. Vash. Um. I just. Um...

[Ah ha!]

We don't have any candles! We can't have a birthday cake without candles!

[chibiremlover]

Oh, that's okay. Rem baked me a birthday cake. I'll just have that one when I go home!

[stungunning]

Well it would be an awful shame not to celebrate your birthday while it's here and there's a cake.

Now how about... you run next door and ask Mr. Sanji-chan if he's got some food colouring we could borrow and then we can make the frosting any colour you like.

[chibiremlover]

Sanji lives next door!? Are you sure he won't mind? I wouldn't want to bother him over something like this. [He blushing, it feels so good to have some stranger care so much about getting him a nice cake.]

[stungunning]

Just you tell him that I sent you and you shouldn't have any problems. And if he starts to make a fuss you just tell him I said it's for the baby.

[...and because he is adorable and she misses doing this for her nephews, have a hair ruffle Little Mr. Vash.]

[chibiremlover]

But I'm not a baby! [He says this stubbornly, but not really upset or too hurt over it. It's just first the crew and now some woman he just met! How does he give off this impression!?]

[stungunning]

[She's going to laugh, but not at you. Though really you are very sweet and silly.]

Oh I know you're not, especially seeing as it's your birthday today and you're getting even bigger. I meant my baby.

[chibiremlover]

Your baby!? [He takes a second to process that and then his face fills with surprise and shock.] Is- Is Nicholas a daddy!?

[stungunning]

Yes he is, or at least he's going to be. The baby's still growing in my tummy, you see?

[She gently pats the little bump she's sporting.]

And then we'll have a big birthday party for them in May.

[chibiremlover]

[Vash looks at Milly's small bump in awe for a few moments before his hand slowly reaches out. He almost doesn't even have to think about it, but he stops right before he touches her belly, looking up to make sure it's okay first. All thoughts of cake long from his mind.]

[stungunning]

[Milly smiles and makes no move to stop him; he's a little boy, it's more than okay with her. It would still be okay with her too if he were his normal size. He's family, after all.]

It's still a little to early to feel the baby kicking, but it won't be long now.

[chibiremlover]

[Vash gently rubs his hand over Milly's stomach, his mouth hanging open just a little bit as he feels what should feel like a normal stomach under his hand. Only he knows better.]

There's a life in there.

[stungunning]

[The look of amazement and wonder on his face makes Milly smile even more; it is pretty wonderful, the fact that there's a tiny new person getting ready to make their grand debut into the world and she is keeping them safe and helping them grow big and strong. It's a very big and precious responsibility and she still finds it humbling.]

Mm hmm, it's pretty amazing isn't it? And one day that little person in there is going to grow up to be a big and strong little boy or girl, just like you.
