[Accidental Voice]

[Early this morning the droids had swooped down on Vash during one of his regular trips through the woods. They came fast and hit hard so he had no time to give warning, but it's alright. As he was back by the afternoon, his journal falling open on the ground as he's returned. Only it shows a small boy with long, blond hair with a blindfold over his eyes, a pointy, party hat on his head, and a small strip of paper in his hand. The boy feels around blindly for a moment.]

Come on guys. Am I getting close? Why's it suddenly so cold. Knives? Rem? [A pause and he flails his arms a bit more.] ...Joey? Is this some kind of joke, because I don't really like it. [Finally he pushes up the blindfold.] Hey! This isn't the ship! [There's a pause, and suddenly a smile breaks out on the boy's face.] This is Luceti, isn't it!?

[He looks around, finally spotting the journal and quickly picking it up.] Hi everyone! The snow's all gone! I went home for a little bit, but now I'm back! Is Nicholas still here? Or Sanji?

[Then suddenly, his smile breaks into a pout.] HEY! I didn't even get a piece of cake yet! [That's just not fair!]

[Tiny Vash will be making his way to the village to explore everything again. He'll be sure to stop by the Flower Shop also the bakery and Seventh Heaven for food. Also the clothing store as his clothes aren't exactly early spring appropriate. He'll also play around the fountain for a bit. Feel free to run into him anywhere!

Of course, for the next couple weeks he'll also be staying at House 5 causing mischief for the Trigun members.]

[Yes and that is precisely when Senri will snap out of thinking mode and gently-but-firmly grab the flowerpot to stop the pot from turning. Because he is just a tiny bit protective of the flowers. Especially these flowers since they are a constant reminder of his first... well... technically second meeting with Vash when he learned how precious these flowers were and how to take care of them.]

[Vash looks up at the tall man a little confused. Last time he had been in Luceti and visited the flower shop no one had really stopped him from anything.]

I'm sorry, did I do something wrong?

...

[See, normally this is the part where I'd go on about how "If he was a normal human being capable of normal conversation he would tell mini Vash that he shouldn't touch the flowers like that, but he's not a normal person capable of normal conversation." but you know what? He is going to answer this question. Verbally. It's too bad bitty Vash cannot quite appreciate this considering that getting Senri to use his words is like pulling hens teeth.]

[THEY ARE SPECIAL TO HIM OKAY ;A;]

Break them-? Oh! I would never break them! That would be bad if I did that!

[Being mentally a kid himself, being given his word actually puts Senri back at ease. Checking the flower just to make sure it was okay anyways. It was, but he did realize that it could use a little water when he poked at the soil. Pausing for a minute before wandering off to go grab the watering can.]

[As Senri leaves Vash goes back to staring closely at the flower. This time he doesn't touch the pot, not sure if he's allowed to or not.

He can see why Rem loves this plant so much above the others. It's beautiful.]

[After completing his epic and harrowing mission to procure a watering can and fill it up. (seriously there was a fire breathing dragon and a princess in another castle and everything Vash should have went with him*) he will come back with the hard one gardening tool in hand to ~~sprinkle some water on~~ deliver some much needed liquid H2O to the ~~poor. slightly thirsty~~ dramatically wilting flower.

[Vash watches in aw as the soil soaks up the water.] How do you know how much they need?a

[after sprinkling a little water onto the soil, he'll poke it with his finger to make sure that is actually is damp enough now. He seems to be really satisfied with his work.]

Better now.

[Slowly Vash will reach out with one of his fingers, wanting to feel what Senri had felt. He stops within an inch of the soil to look up at Senri, looking for some sign that it was alright for him to touch the plant again.]

[Well little Vash, if it doesn't look like Senri has any objections, it's because he doesn't. Since the awkwardly silent teen get's that the kid is just going to do what he just did and he already knows that's not going to hurt it.]

[Vash smiles, happy to not being told to stop. He reaches carefully into the dirt and feels the moist soil.] So, when it's that wet, they're all set?

[Nod yes. Okay so in reality it's way more complicated then that because different flower species like different levels of moisture at different times.

...but hey that's just about all that Senri knows too, so they can skip all of that stuff... and risk the possibility of inadvertently killing some flowers, but hey that's life.]

Wow. [Vash leans his head down on his hands. Looking up at the flowers for a different angel.] They're so beautiful.

[Even though he doesn't say it, Senri agrees with him. He likes all the tiny little flowers blossoming even though the plant itself is kinda big.]

[doo dee doo he's just going to look around at the other flowers in the shop now.]

[WHEN SUDDENLY-]

[THEY ACTUALLY HAVE HIS FAVORITE FLOWER SPECIES EVER NOW.]

[brb kid ditching to you go stare lovingly at these flowers IT'S JUST THAT IMPORTANT TO HIM OKAY]

[For awhile Vash doesn't mind being alone. He can turn the flower now without being yelled at. Although he does start to get hungry and that's when he notices the flower Senri is looking at.]

Hey, what kind of flower is that one?

[Senri is glad Vash asked! Okay so not really he is just glad that it is finally here and that happiness just sort of transfers into his answer. He is practically giddy compared to his usual self, which to be fair isn't saying that much...]

Crystal? They sure are pretty like crystal.

[And now he will pull out his book, and flip it open to the first page. There is a pressed and dried version of the flower. It had been in there for many years. And now he'll show it to baby Vash.]

Crystal

[SEE? IT'S CRYSTAL'S FLOWER SEE SEE SEE HE KEPT IT ALL THIS TIME HE'S A GOOD BOY.]

Hey! That's the same flower! Another crystal flower! [Nope. Doesn't get it.]

[See, and the magical thing about Senri is......... it doesn't matter! He is still sufficiently pleased with that answer (mostly because he's already in a good mood, and short of Vash trying to take away or otherwise demolish the book no response to that could have really displeased him) and closes the book, putting it back where it's nice and safe in his ~~fanny pack~~ bag.]
