[Early this morning the droids had swooped down on Vash during one of his regular trips through the woods. They came fast and hit hard so he had no time to give warning, but it's alright. As he was back by the afternoon, his journal falling open on the ground as he's returned. Only it shows a small boy with long, blond hair with a blindfold over his eyes, a pointy, party hat on his head, and a small strip of paper in his hand. The boy feels around blindly for a moment.]

Come on guys. Am I getting close? Why's it suddenly so cold. Knives? Rem? [A pause and he flails his arms a bit more.] ...Joey? Is this some kind of joke, because I don't really like it. [Finally he pushes up the blindfold.] Hey! This isn't the ship! [There's a pause, and suddenly a smile breaks out on the boy's face.] This is Luceti, isn't it!?

[He looks around, finally spotting the journal and quickly picking it up.] Hi everyone! The snow's all gone! I went home for a little bit, but now I'm back! Is Nicholas still here? Or Sanji?

[Then suddenly, his smile breaks into a pout.] HEY! I didn't even get a piece of cake yet! [That's just not fair!]

[Tiny Vash will be making his way to the village to explore everything again. He'll be sure to stop by the Flower Shop also the bakery and Seventh Heaven for food. Also the clothing store as his clothes aren't exactly early spring appropriate. He'll also play around the fountain for a bit. Feel free to run into him anywhere!

Of course, for the next couple weeks he'll also be staying at House 5 causing mischief for the Trigun members.]

Okay, it's our secret.

[And here she leans in a little closer, voice lowered conspiratorially.]

I didn't know how to fix my hair for myself until I was twelve. My little big sister used to fix it for me.

Really? Not until you were twelve? [He looks around and lowers his voice some more.] Don't worry! I promise not to ell anyone. Not even Rem or Knives!

I made it look just terrible, all lumps and bumps all over the place and my little big brother used to say I looked like a hedgehog when I was done with it.

But you know, if you'd like I could probably teach you how to do it.

Would you?! Knives can get his hair perfect already! I want to show him I can too! He picks on me like your brother sometimes, but he's never called me a hedgehog!

[It seems very strange to Milly to listen to listen to Vash talk about his brother the way that she talks about her brothers and sisters, but knowing that unlike her family, Vash's becomes something entirely different and terrible.

For now, she just looks at the little boy and gives his hair one last ruffle.]

Well that's good! Because being called a hedgehog isn't an awful lot of fun. Now, shall we find something tie your hair back with?

Okay! Rem keeps some hair ties in the kitchen for us, but I bet we could find some string or something we could use!

Hmm... let's see. I might have them up on the shelf over there. I'll get them down, why don't you go and wash your hands and we'll start working on this cake? You've got to have clean hands otherwise the cake will end up tasting like dirt!

Ew! No one would want a dirt tasting cake! [He runs off to the bathroom and is gone for a few minutes. When he comes back he comes running in, holding up his still slightly wet hands. Even the edges of his sleeves are a bit damp.] Look! Look! All clean!

I can see! I don't there's even a speck of dirt left on those hands, you did a really good job Vash.

[And now she looks at the ingredients out in front of her, smiling broadly.]

Do you think you can measure out two cups of flour for me and then sift them into this bowl here?

[Vash beams proudly when he's told he's done a good job. Then he nods his head.] Uh-huh! I measure stuff for Rem all the time! But will you help me pull my hair back first, please!

Oh yes of course, silly me. My head's gone and got all forgetful lately, how could I forget about tying your hair back?

[She heads over towards the chairs and pulls one out for Vash, then turns to pull another out for herself.]

Come on over here and sit down, I can't quite reach you all the way down there and I want to do a good job on your hair.]

[Vash moves quick. Hoping up so fast into the chair that it skids against the floor a bit.] Does this work?
