[Vash was having a good night for the most part. He had woken up in the middle of it - thought someone had come in, but no one had. Still had a pretty nice sleep up until he gets up and out of bed. This would be because he has just placed his feet into some very cold water. He lets out a very unmanly shriek as he leaps from the bed. Once his feet are dry he exits his bedroom to find-OW! What- what is that chair- oh come on! His furniture too?

After checking to make sure Wolfwood's cross is safe and all weapons he's hidden around the place accounted for a bedraggled Vash appears over the journals. Still dressed in his long sleeved pajamas and hair in a mess of bedhead. He also may be rubbing at his shin.]

So, last year was elves. Did anyone else get their apartment re-arranged or was it just me? [This just HAS to be something with Malnosso, right? Right?] If it wasn't Malnosso who was it?! [Most of the people Vash would have guessed to pull on prank on him have been sent home or don't remember him if they are still here.]

Getting so a guy can't even walk around in his own home anymore!

[Action]

[Later once Vash has put his place back to rights he'll be less angry. He visits the flower shop, grocery store, and the town square. At the square he'll be doing some people watching and feeling a bit prankish himself now a stray snowball or two may be flying at characters as they walk by.

He'll end his day in Good Spirits for a quiet drink.]

[Iroh was enjoying a pleasant walk through the village. It was one of his habits as of late. It served multiple purposes of giving him some fresh air, familiarizing himself with the village, and allowing him to clear his head.

When a projectile is thrown his way, he reacts instinctively, side stepping back, catching the snowball with one hand and sending it flying back from once it came. Did no one tell you not to throw snowballs at martial arts masters?]

Those who throw snow should always be prepared when snow is thrown at them.

[A snowball isn't anywhere near as fast as a bullet. Vash should be able to dodge it, but he's honestly so impressed that he doesn't even think to do that. Instead it hits him square in the chest.

He pouts and sputters as snow flies into his face.]

Hey! That's cheating! At least, I think it is!

I might grant you that if I was a waterbender, but I am a firebender. I have no control over water.

[Just going to point that out. Having good reflexes isn't cheating. If he can catch an arrow from an expert archer, snow is relatively simple coming from a non bender]

[Vash considers that for a moment.] I still think it's cheating somehow.

Unless you were on my team in a snowball fight. Then it's not cheating at all!

[Ginia's enjoying a light stroll through the village. It was a good way to learn the surroundings, get some fresh air and exercise, and try to clear her mind. The latter was unsuccessful, but it hadn't been in years.

When a snowball comes flying at her, Ginia quickly ducks and rolls aside, the snowball landing harmlessly in the ground. Springing to her feet, a hand already on her knife, it takes her a moment to realize it was just a harmless snowball. Her hand doesn't leave her knife as she turns toward the direction the snowball came from.]

[When she turns towards the direction it was thrown she will find the culprit masterly hiding! By masterly hiding it's actually not masterly at all. As Vash is hiding behind a park bench. Half sticking out around the side and his broom hair sticking up just above the top of the bench.

He's also snickering to himself as he hides. Not aware yet his snowball has missed.]

[When Ginia spots Vash hiding behind the park bench, she returns her knife to its sheath. It was just a snowball. It's what people do in the snow, throw snowballs at each other.

Ginia kneels down and quickly packs up two snowballs. She stands and throws one at the bench in an attempt to draw him out. The snowball hits the back of the bench, exploding in a burst of snow.]

[Vash jumps backwards into the open at the first snowball crashes into the bench with a pathetic yelp. Landing onto his but and left wide open!]

[Aha! Target sighted! Ginia swiftly throws the second snowball in a direct course toward Vash.]

What do you mean elves? And what's this about your apartment being messed with? [He wants to know because he's going to kill anyone who messes with his house!]

Last year everyone had elves follow them around. Mine sometimes pulled pranks on me.

Although, this morning I've woken up and all my furniture has been moved. [Just going to avoid talking about how he woke up with a bowl of water that his feet had landed in and spilled all over on top of that.] Not sure if one elf really could have done that on his own.

[Voice]

Hmmm. [It comes out more as a low growl. If that happens to him, it will really piss him off. It's funny though, he's not questioning the existence of elves in this place. Stupid enclosure.]

You're positive you weren't just sleepwalking? That's not something I'd rule out for someone like you. [Imagining Vash just running around like a ninny in his sleep, moving things.]

Unless the Malnosso have done something to me I don't sleep walk. Although I wouldn't be at all surprised if they did.

[Voice]

Heheheh. Well, perhaps you might want to get that checked out. Who knows what will happen next time. We could find you drowning in the lake by that reasoning. What a pity.

[And somehow, he thinks that's pretty amusing.]

Wait, the elves are back?

[NO WHY he had enough trouble with them last year...]

I don't know! Just all the furniture in my house has been moved and it's the same time of year. You haven't had anything weird happen to you have you?

No, not yet... and no one has touched my orange soda either. That was the first thing they went for last time, so I guess that means I'm safe... for now.

[Voice]

Well, I hope you stay that way and that whoever, whatever did it is done. Because I don't want to be rearranging my apartment everyday.

[Voice]

Same here. But if you haven't seen any of them, I'm not so sure it's the elves. They weren't exactly that good at being stealthy...

[In Vash's defense, he probably didn't intend this snowball for Nephry. Probably. Right? Doesn't matter, because it hits her square in the side of the head, dislodging her glasses and soaking her winter hat too.

Startled, she looks around first for the perpetrator, then for her glasses because finding her snow assailant is going to be tricky without them.]

[No he certainly did not. He even tries to shout a warning, but it's way too late as the snowball collides.] Oh man! I'm so sorry! [Vash rushes over right quick to try to right his mistake. He carefully lifts her glasses, brushing the snow away with his gloved hand.] I hope I didn't break them. If I did I'll make sure you get a new pair! Are you alright?

[Nephry keeps a stoic expression, even an irritated one, until he hands back her glasses and she puts them on.]

They're a little bent. [Then she can't hold it anymore, and smiles.] If I couldn't take a snowball or two, I would be a poor representative of my home. It's fine.

Ah, that's good, but I'm sorry they're bent. Do you think they could be fixed? I have a few points saved up from missions. Maybe I could buy you some new ones.

[Yet he's smiling easily. Glad she's not too upset, but it's still important to replace things you break. Even if you didn't mean to break it.]

It's not a problem, really. I've done worse to these on my own, and I can bend them back again.
