[The video starts with a rapid, bouncing motion of the sky as if the book had just been dropped and landed on it's spine before falling open. It's quickly followed by a long yell and a LOUD splash! The image bobs up and down a moment before slowly the book starts to slide and tip over. Water starts to creep up and take over the screen as there's another splash and the sound of a man taking a LARGE breath of air.]

AHHH! Oh man, I think I saw a bright light that time! Or maybe that was the su-[Glub! Opps! No time to try to relax just yet. Luckily there's another gasp shortly after that.] GAAHH! This swimming thing is hard- [Opps, there went the journal. There's a muffled yell before the book is yanked up and out of the water.]

Oh man... it's soaked. [At last there is a view of a rather wet Vash, staring into the journal as he clutches onto a small piece of drift wood. That's a LOT of water behind him.]

Uh... is this thing still working? Ahahaha... heeeey there guys. No need to worry! But I uh, won't be home tonight. Or... uh... maybe a week. [He glances up. A big revealed grin shows up on his face.] Oh good! I can see the mountains from here! Now I know which wa- [Whoops, he got a little too excited, the book joins him back under water as he flips over his little piece of wood. It takes only a few moments for him to surface again.]

Aiaiaiiaiai... man that's cold and was that... salt? I'll just be home as fast as I can, okay?

Oh, I didn't know. So, uh, if it's alright to ask, what are you? Are you a shark?

[Pout.]

...Do I look like a shark?

[She'll take your hand and place it on the side of her fin. Feel the scales?]

[Takes a second to process it. That's different.] Huh. I've never met a mermaid before.

Maybe you should get dropped in the middle of the ocean more often then, huh? [Giggle.]

No thank you. I like breathing air better.

[Blink.]

[Not just humans.] Ahahaha, that's right.

Hey, I don't mean to impose, but do you think you could help me get to shore? [He's so going to cry if you say no.]

Of course~! Hang on tight, okay?

You will! Oh, thank you! I'm saved! I'll hang on tight! Super tight! [He'll try his best to remember that you need to breath too, but no promises about how hard he'll squeeze when they get going.]

[That tight squeeze may come in handy, because Keimi takes off like a rocket, swimming as fast as she can towards the shoreline. Obviously this human doesn't like water, so she should get him to land as quickly as possible, right?]

[WHOA! FAST! Hopefully they start out above the water, as Vash, being a manly man, lets out a very manly yelp as they get started and somehow manages to cling even tighter as they go.

It really isn't so much that he doesn't like the water, just that his swimming skills comes only from what instinct tells him. That would only get him so far really and do very little against the current he had found himself in.

Vash really was in more trouble then he was going to allow his mind settle on for more than a second after falling into the water. He knew panicking wasn't going to save him, that can come when they reach shore.]

[And after a few pulse-quickening minutes, they do arrive at shore. Keimi slows down before reaching the sand.]

There you go! You should be able to stand here.

[Tentatively Vash's feet find the ground and he lets go. He's a little unsteady as the water rocks him back and forth a little bit. He might be shivering just a little bit, but who care's because-]

HAHAHAHAHAHHA! I'M ALIVE!

[Uh oh... wave.]

WHAAAAAA! [And Vash goes tumbling over and back into the water. He'll pop up again in a moment, sputtering.]

[In all her life, she has never seen anyone fail so hard at swimming. Oh Vash, you crazy.]

Are you okay?

[Aw! Give him a break! This is only his second time ever swimming! And the first time was in a lake! He's never really seen a wave before!]

I'm okay! I'm okay!

I think. [Just trying and failing to stand back up.]
