[As the day starts to move more towards evening Vash finds himself waking up just inside the tunnel system. For once dressed in his normal clothes, but of course Vash isn’t the lucky type. There’s just a SLIGHT problem as he fumbles his journal out of his coat pocket. He opens it and speaks calmly, as if nothing was wrong.]
Wolfwood, I need a hand. [He’ll explain what and where he is once you can put a filter up for him.]
Everyone… please don’t respond to this unless it’s completely private. [Who knows who might be stalking this entry and he can’t filter for you right now, but he needed to get home somehow. He was going to freeze if he got lost in the forest all night.
For those who’d like to run into Vash; while he waits for Wolfwood, he works on carefully feeling his way up and out of the tunnel. He doesn‘t like the way it makes him feel when he’s down there. It always makes him feel weak and empty inside. Once he‘s out he‘ll find a tree to rest against with his eyes closed and sunglasses on. Doing his utmost best to look as if he‘s just taking a rest while waiting for Wolfwood. No need to suspect he‘s gone temporarily blind, right?]

[See? Sanosuke doesn't even like the things, and he's got his tucked in his shirt. Of course, he won't pull it out all the way, since he's expecting Vash to get his.]
[action]
[action]
[Well, fine. That's settled. But the excuses really haven't done much to get rid of Sanosuke's unease. So he'll take a quick look around, just to see if anyone's coming, then lower his voice a little.]
Hey, is something going on with you? I know we don't know each other well, but I'm not the type of guy who likes just standing around when I've got a friend in trouble or anything.
[action]
[action]
[It's official; Sanosuke's not buying it. At least not completely. But without knowing just what's wrong, it's hard to make any accusations. So he'll stick with threats.]
I guess.
Listen, I'm in a good mood, so I'll give you some advice, okay? I'm also not the kind of guy who likes it when people hide things for dumb reasons. So if there is something--you know, whenever--you'd be better off telling me straight out. Saves me from having to punch you later.
[And he's serious about the punching bit. See that fist he's making? Oh, wait...]
[action]
Re: [action]
[And just to demonstrate, he'll throw a punch at your face--but stop just short of your nose. Isn't he nice? And yes, Sanosuke hits hard.]
That's the only warning you get, by the way.

You're a fighter. Good to know.
[But the dodge, as natural as it was, doesn't make sense. Kind of like watching Kenshin fight Hannya, when his timing was off. The move itself speaks of experience, but then, why didn't he know that Sanosuke was joking?]
[One way to find out. He holds up a hand, two fingers raised.]
So how many fingers do you see?
[action]
[action]
Nice try. How long have you been blind?
[Oh hey, suddenly things make a lot more sense. And Max can probably tell, Sanosuke's not happy.]
And please tell me you're not going to try and be stupid and hide it from everyone.

Re: [action]
[What's that? You need pushing?]
Seriously, you don't think people will figure it out?
[action]
[I'm sorry, did you ask a question?]
Re: [action]
[Why, yes he did. Here, let him repeat it for you.]
Look, I barely know you and I figured it out. You can't just keep it hidden, especially if it doesn't go away.
[action]
[action]
Yeah? Okay smartass. Walk five steps away from the tree without being completely obvious. Or don't think I hadn't noticed that you haven't moved either.
And besides that, what if I'd been serious? Or tried to shoot you or something, huh?
[action]
[action]
I'm being serious here. Better to ask for a little help than end up dead or something.
[action]
[action]
And stop ignoring half of what I say! It's starting to piss me off.
