[Vash has gone out today, his hair is black and he has a new stun gun with him, he may be inspecting your building for damage. After a few hours of closely inspecting the buildings around town he remembers something and opens his journal.]

Ah, has anyone seen Ms. Meryl around? I got distracted and forgot to ask her where she’d be today. Oh man, Knives would be so disappointed, I need to learn to keep better track of things. Ah, and Ms. Meryl, as the buildings are finally fixed after so long, maybe you should be extra careful around them today. I know you’ve been good since coming here, but… just in case?

Vash-- [The warning gets cut off. Naoki's eyes are glowing red again, fire exploding in his hands.]

[Good thing. Fire explodes where he once was and Naoki lets out a soft tsk, waving fire off his fingers.] Hmpth. [And moving after him!]

[Fire whizzes past Vash to either side--Naoki could probably hit him, if he wasn't fighting so hard with himself.]

Haha... [He laughs slightly to himself as he falls behind. Speed was never his forte.]

[Whoa, fire. Vash takes a nervous peak behind himself to see how close you are. He'd really hate to shoot you with his stun gun Naoki. It may not kill but it sure as hell hurts.

[Naoki's not close enough to even attempt a grab at the tail end of his coat. He waves a hand, though, wind whipping up around him and gusting forward to try and blow Vash off balance.]

[He doesn't have the speed, reflexes, or agility he once had. He'll go toppling over, but keeps a firm grip on his weapon as he works on picking himself back up.]

[And Naoki moves toward him, drawing his fist back, readying a punch to slam down on him.]

[He's sorry Naoki, he really is, but he thinks you'll be more sorry if you hurt him. So, he fires one of his rounds. And they're strong enough to tip over a large vehicle.]

[Naoki chokes as the round collides and flies back, skidding across the ground, gasping a bit for breath. He croaks out a whisper:] ...t-thank you.

Don't thank me for that. [But he keeps running, getting the feeling something like that won't work twice with.]

[Oh Vash. He's thanking you for stopping him. But that round he thinks might've cracked a rib and so heals himself first before rising. Vash's got a good head start on him now.]
