[It had been over a week now since Vash had been taken and returned by the Malnosso, yet he still sleeps. It's a peaceful sleep, no emotions ever cross his face, not even when his friends take care of him. If he's dreaming he doesn't show any signs if they're good or bad.

Then again, maybe not EVERYTHING has been tried to wake him. (This action is reserved for Meryl!)]

[Once he's been up for a bit and has assured his household that he's alright he starts to get a bit restless. It's hard to believe that you've been asleep for over a week. So he eventually leaves the house with the intention of taking a nice long walk. Of course he'll stop at the flower shop, bakery, and forest. Can't ignore those favorite spots. Although he also has a few odd stops on his list today.

Like looking around Luceti for fallenambitions with a cat in his arms. Hermes seems to taken after his mother by showing up in random places - like Vash's bed. So Vash is here to return him before Wolfwood found out. After finding fallenambitions and returning his cat; Vash then heads for the Battle Dome. He hasn't practiced for over a week, he doesn't want to risk getting rusty.

So he runs a few simulations. Usually with the dials set to random encounters, he's always worked best on his feet, but there are a couple bandit mobs that he programs into it. He practices until the room forces him to take a break so he opens his journal to make a voice post.]

[And whatever he WAS going to ask is COMPLETELY forgotten about as he shouts for joy. This calls for a drink! Out of respect for Legato's fate he won't be getting drunk, but it just feels so good knowing he no longer needs to worry about his friends suddenly walking off without a trace anymore. Then again, he's never needed to be drunk to be loud and obnoxious so as he heads over to Good Spirits he cracks his journal open once more.]

[Vash calms himself down a bit for this. For as happy as knowing pretty much everyone with a grudge against him have gone, Legato did just return to being dead. He can't let him forget why that is either.]

[Well he won't have to look too far. Whenever Vash finds himself in the plaza area, he'll spot him near the smithy. He was leaving it actually, with a small box on hand.]

[ Meryl is on her bout of Vash duty, on the edge of the bed by him, stitching up holes in clothes that have been worn too long, and thinks on how long they must have been here to have worn holes in their clothes. Everyone had been here for quite a time, herself the longest, and the warmth of the desert seemed almost dissolved from her skin.

Vash is quiet and for as much as she has always complained and carried on about his loudness, she does not like his quiet. Even the painful sounds of his despair were better than a quiet Vash. But, it couldn't last forever. She was hoping, in her heart, and she would believe in it as she knew she and everyone had to believe in him. Still, she was just impatient, sometimes, and watching over him makes her even more anxious.

A sigh.

She places her work down and touches his hand, feeling the reassuring warmth of his skin. ]

Just what do you think you're doing, Vash? Making us worry again... can't you even feel us? [ Her fingers curl on the back of his palm. ] Can't you feel me here, Vash?

[If Vash can feel the touch on his hand he shows no sign of it. The only movement being the steady rise and fall of his chest. He continues to sleep, unaware of the anxiety he is causing around him.]
