( Action for Meryl )
[Once he's been up for a bit and has assured his household that he's alright he starts to get a bit restless. It's hard to believe that you've been asleep for over a week. So he eventually leaves the house with the intention of taking a nice long walk. Of course he'll stop at the flower shop, bakery, and forest. Can't ignore those favorite spots. Although he also has a few odd stops on his list today.

Like looking around Luceti for

fallenambitions with a cat in his arms. Hermes seems to taken after his mother by showing up in random places - like Vash's bed. So Vash is here to return him before Wolfwood found out. After finding

fallenambitions and returning his cat; Vash then heads for the Battle Dome. He hasn't practiced for over a week, he doesn't want to risk getting rusty.

So he runs a few simulations. Usually with the dials set to random encounters, he's always worked best on his feet, but there are a couple bandit mobs that he programs into it. He practices until the room forces him to take a break so he opens his journal to make a voice post.]

[And whatever he WAS going to ask is COMPLETELY forgotten about as he shouts for joy. This calls for a drink! Out of respect for Legato's fate he won't be getting drunk, but it just feels so good knowing he no longer needs to worry about his friends suddenly walking off without a trace anymore. Then again, he's never needed to be drunk to be loud and obnoxious so as he heads over to Good Spirits he cracks his journal open once more.]

[It's late at night and he's camped out in one of the new feather stations. Like most nights this past week he's unable to sleep. He misses Rem and Meryl had been gone for so long. What could they be doing to her? It made him feel so helpless, he couldn't save and protect anyone he cared about. Meryl... she must be so scared. And Rem, he had left her again. Would he ever see her again?

And what would she think if she saw him now? What would either of them think? He still didn't really want to go home. To be faced with that empty room, but Wolfwood and the girls were still there. What if Wolfwood left one day too? He didn't want to think about it. He hated this, but what else could he do? Nothing. Nothing, but keep moving forward.

He knows he's not getting any sleep tonight. So he leaves the station, cleaning it up before he goes. He takes a long walk through the dark and quiet woods. It's early morning by the time he reaches the village. Nothing, but keep moving forward. So he heads for the bakery, a smile on his face and orders a dozen donuts. Starting off slow and easy, he takes his haul to the fountain to watch the village wake up and eat his breakfast.]

Mmmhmm! Wow! These sure are tasty! That just baked freshness! It's amazing! Super moist! AHAHA! The perfect way to start a day!

[Donuts done, he visits the flower shop. Checking on the flowers and helping to care for the ones that need it. Once they're all watered to perfection he moves onto the item and grocery shop to pick up a few supplies for home. He doesn't really know what they need after being gone for so long, but really he's just stalling.

Finally, once he has a small bag of supplies in hand he heads home. He heads up to the door and enters the house as if he hadn't just run away for a week.] Hey guys, I got some bread, cheese, and ham if anyone wants a sandwich! [And with that "I'm home" announcement, Vash sets to putting away what he got and making himself a sandwich to sit down and eat. As he chews he thinks about the written message Milly had made and decides he has to do one last thing before trying to put this behind him.]

Sorry if I worried anyone. I'm alright. Man, it's been getting cold out lately! Do you think it will snow soon? All the leaves changing colors has been pretty, but I think the forest looks so sad when they're all down until the snow comes!

[After that “very important” service announcement Vash will be arriving at the bakery and ordering three dozen donuts. That’s right. Three dozen. He’ll be taking his haul to a bench to people watch and chow down, humming to himself and yelling over just how GREAT those donuts are.

When lunch is over he’ll be heading to the flower shop to lend a hand and just see all the flowers. Just seeing them makes him happy. His last stop on his day of happy is a quick trip to the bar for some happy drinks. He’s been drinking out of depression too much lately, he’d better fix that. Don’t worry, Wolfwood and Meryl! He won’t be TOO drunk when he gets home. Maybe… you totally won’t hear him throwing up in the toilet later. Maybe…]
