[He was dreaming, he was out in the forest, but this wasn’t like most of the dreams he had that were in the forest. He was fighting someone, but who…? Legato? No! It was---!!] Wolfwood! [His stressed brain works over time as it seems to take everything in at once. He’s in his room. Something cold on his wrist - handcuffs - his ankle too. The end of the fight comes running back to him. Wolfwood was alive and taking safety measures.

Good. He deserved to be chained up like a monster. Just thinking about what he’d done makes his stomach turn. Without even really thinking about it he slides himself up trying to bring his knees to his chest. He should call for Wolfwood, make sure he was alright and to get out of these chains, but… he just couldn’t look him in the face right now. I tried to kill him. Ugh. He lowers his head; afraid he really was going to be sick.

Then sometime after one of his roommates have set him free and he can get to his journal he‘ll put up a filter, although it takes him a long time to speak into it after it goes up.]

[Vash hesitates on this. He’s pretty sure Legato would also rather pretend the last couple weeks didn’t happen, but still, Vash couldn’t do that. He also couldn‘t bring himself to speak it either. So after a long pause he quickly scribbles.]

[This post may or may not have been made from within Vash’s closet. He knows he has to go back outside at some point - even just to make sure Legato hasn’t gone on a rampage - he’s just not ready to face people yet.]

[Vash is bored. He woke up this morning and meditated on the ideas of love and peace as usual. He lasted about seven seconds. A new record for him. He then went through his typical morning training before grabbing some breakfast and a shower. Now that the morning routine is over he’s found a lack of things he wants to do inside, but until his little napping problem is pass he knows he should stay in.

So he finds himself in his room; tending to the one flower of Rem’s that managed to survive the earthquake.] There now little guy, you’re looking better already! [He smiles at the plant, he really didn’t think it would survive for awhile there. He stares around his room, trying to think of something else to do, when it hits him. The other flowers weren’t the only thing he misses that the earthquake destroyed. He reaches over and opens his journal.]

Hey, Miyabi and Katara. If you’re free sometime, I was wondering if either of you would like to help me paint my room again? My walls grew back white and I miss the painting you guys did for me. Hm, or I suppose I could paint it myself if you don’t want to. [Is that a threat? Maybe.]

[The sun is out and Vash is in fairly high spirits after a couple of stressful weeks. Nami’s back, Rem is here, Meryl isn’t upset with him, and it seems the people running around murdering have been at least stopped for now. So he’s decided to make a couple stops today. First on that list is House 6 to see how Nami is doing. After that he’ll stop to visit Kohaku if she’s home.

Then he’s going to stop at the library to find a book on growing plants indoors. Afterwards, he'll stop at the flower shop for pots, seeds, and dirt before heading for home. Feel free to run into him between any of his stops or at the library and shop.]

[Shortly after this thread on the 14th Vash is quickly making his way back to town. He has some work to do. For those of you that know Vash well the usual happy tone is missing from his voice.]

Mr. Belmont? My name is Vash. [He knows they’ve talked once or twice, but it’s been awhile.] I would like to ask you a few questions if I could about Aku and your whip.

Uh, this is probably a strange question. Does anyone know a way to give bullets a - uh, holy quality to them? I don’t think just blessing them will do the trick.

[With that done Vash can be found headed toward the weapon shop. For those who meet up with him or try to talk to him about something other than Aku stuff will find that he’ll drop his serious act and try to act happy as usual. Although Meryl may pick up that for the next couple weeks someone will be having trouble sleeping and up late most nights.]

[Vash is a man on a mission! After talking to Katara a bit he’s gotten the itch to paint his room. He’s never really stayed in one place long enough to think about decorating a room and he can’t quite settle on a color. So for a good hour he can be found walking back and forth between the shop and his room carrying cans of paint back and forth. Then he starts to paint. He starts with red, but it’s just too much red so he adds a bit of blue. After that he tries yellow. Next he adds some green around the bottom of the wall. He likes the green - for awhile, then tries orange. Then a bit of purple.

At last he finally get gets the idea to paint the sky on his ceiling - complete with fluffy white clouds that don’t really look anything like clouds because he has no real art skill. Time to call for an expert!]

Drunks shouldn’t be given magical journals, even if it wasn’t totally his fault – he’s not sorry for this post. You all do need to learn to love more.]

[After taking a few days to himself to fully process the whole "return to life" thing, Vash is finally getting out to visit the people he said he would.

His first stop is Flonne’s Flower Shop of Love. He’s hoping Flonne is there today as he doesn’t know where she lives. (Seeing the flowers is also a plus!) His next stop is Kohaku’s place! He makes a pit stop where he thought Miyabi’s house was only to be disappointed that he can‘t see it. Silly snow. Then finally the last stop he makes is the Straw Hat residence. For those he’s visiting he looks perfectly normal except for the small bags under his eyes. Someone hasn’t been sleeping well lately. At some point during his walking he pauses to jot down a note in his journal.]

[If you happen to be walking in the forest this afternoon, you may notice something strange. There is a man lying in the snow who apparently thought it would be a good place for a nap. And napping is just what he’s doing at the moment. Thinking that maybe the past couple months have only been a dream - that is, until he starts to wake and notices two important things. He’s cold and wet. Gunsmoke is neither cold or wet so then - it was real? His eyes finally snap open and he bolts upright. He’s breathing heavily as he waves a hand in front of his face before something else hits him.] Meryl! [Snatching the journal at his side Vash will be opening it and nearly shouting into it.]

Meryl! [He quickly softens his voice and puts a soft smile on his face. He’s really back - no need to worry people so much by freaking out.] Uh - everyone. I’m back. I’m sorry if I worried you, but I’ll be home soon.

[He makes good on this by standing as soon as the post is done and making his way back home. He’s stumbling a bit as he makes his way back to community building 4 but otherwise looks fine.]

(ooc: May be slow tagging back. Going to bed soon. I WAS going to post this tomorrow but a few people wouldn't stop complaining. So. I decided to post and not tell them. HA! Revenge! I think?)

[Vash can be found sitting on a bench in the plaza, his glasses on and a very grim look upon his face as he looks the place over. He’s thinking back to the incident with Kefka. A man died and he hadn’t been able to stop it. There must have been a way. What had he missed? He’ll be sitting there for a while, teeth clenching as he tries to figure out what he did wrong. Meryl is welcome to pick up/comment on the sober mood he’s probably been in the past day or so.]

[There is a large man in a red coat carrying a bag about. Is it… Santa!? No. It’s Vash. He has some gifts and he’s out looking for people to give them out to. So if your name is Luka, Flonne, Eiko, Kohaku, Salt, Miyabi, Toph, or Sokka please be expecting a Vash to run at you in the street or be stopping by your place if he knows where you live.

Meryl - your gift he will be giving you when he gets home.

And if you live at the One Piece house. You have a sack with a crudely drawn Vash wearing a Santa hat picture drawn on it with the words ‘Ho Ho Ho!’ pinned to it. Someone doesn’t want to be around when Sanji gets his. In it you will find gifts wrapped for each member with their names on it.

Vash is also carrying candy canes and cards. So if he’s met you even just once - feel free to either find a card or show up and retrieve it. Feel free to also approach the strange man in the red coat if you haven’t met. He has extra candy canes! He also loves kids, so if you're a kid in the area, there will be a stranger offering you candy. Of course you take it!]

[There is a small thump as the journal falls onto the floor and opens up. There is a side view of Vash’s room with various items being tossed around. The room is in a disheveled mess only getting worse as he throws more stuff around. Vash, however, at the moment is out of view.]

It was right here! [There’s a small whine to his voice.] Swords don’t just get up and walk away. At least… that I know of. [There’s a brief view of Vash’s legs as he crosses the room to look elsewhere] What have I been doing for the past two days!? Oh man… it’s not like me to forget… except… [Pause] No… there have been lots of people who’ve forgotten… it’s gotta be for another reason.

[Longer pause and then yelling!] Why do I keep LOSING things!?

(OOC: Vash is looking for Miyabi’s sword… which he already gave her. Poor boy just doesn’t remember that she’s even back! And yes… Vash is very good at talking out loud to himself.)

[Voiced shortly after being yelled at by Sanji.] M-Miyabi? Are you back?
