[Vash is a man on a mission! After talking to Katara a bit he’s gotten the itch to paint his room. He’s never really stayed in one place long enough to think about decorating a room and he can’t quite settle on a color. So for a good hour he can be found walking back and forth between the shop and his room carrying cans of paint back and forth. Then he starts to paint. He starts with red, but it’s just too much red so he adds a bit of blue. After that he tries yellow. Next he adds some green around the bottom of the wall. He likes the green - for awhile, then tries orange. Then a bit of purple.

At last he finally get gets the idea to paint the sky on his ceiling - complete with fluffy white clouds that don’t really look anything like clouds because he has no real art skill. Time to call for an expert!]

Hey Katara! How are you at painting clouds?

[The added shortly after]

You too Miyabi! I bet you could paint some good clouds!

I have no idea! I've never painted clouds before. Why?

Because I've just found out I'm not very good at it!

Did you try to paint your room?

I did! I thought it'd be fun to paint the sky on the ceiling but I can't get the clouds to look right.

Oooh, on the ceiling! What a great idea! I can come by, but I don't know how good a job I'll be able to do. I did meet someone who said she was a painter... maybe she could help too? Do you know a Miyabi?

Yeah! I thought about asking her too - but since you're the one who gave me the idea... hold on! I can ask her myself!

OK! And I don't mind coming over and helping. Just let me know where to meet you.

Sure! Well, I'm in my room at community building four, floor three - room twelve, but I could meet you somewhere!

I'm pretty sure I can find where that is. Would you like me to come over now?

Sure! The door is open just come right in!

OK! [And so, Katara is off to go paintbend the strange man's bedroom. Has Sokka taught her nothing? Have a knock at the door frame.]

Clouds? Oh, those are easy to draw! Ah...are you painting, Vash? [Somehow that concerns her.]

Yeah! I'm painting my room!

Oh, you too? I'm glad everyone's taken to painting a little recently. It really is such a refreshing activity~ Anyway, I'd be glad to help you draw some clouds if you want me to. Should I come over? I'll bring my paint set, too!

Yeah! But I'm on the third floor - so I'll meet you outside of community building four?

Okay, just keep an eye out for me. Or an animal, really... [Miyabi sets off quickly, and in a few minutes, Vash notice a plump, old raccoon waddling towards him, with a yellow, glowing passenger between its ears and carrying a small sack between its teeth. It drops the sack at Vash's feet, then plops down on its belly, deciding to just...take a snooze right there.]

Nyah, what a lazy thing you are. You make Ammy look more energetic than you! [Sigh.] Hello, Vash.

[Grins at the poor raccoon] Hi there! How have you been? [Kneels down so you can easily hop onto his hand. Your taxi has arrived!]

Far better than the last time we spoke. [Hops right onto that hand, smiling. Yay, Vash!taxi~ Miyabi points to the little sack next to the sleeping animal.]

Be sure you bring that, too. All my supplies are inside, but don't jostle them too much, or the inkpots will break.

I'll be careful! [And he will carefully pick up your bag and head upstairs. And there you get to see his attempts at painting. Walls look like a rainbow exploded on them and the ceiling is blue with white ciricles.]

[She smiles at his reassurance and the merry tinkling of inkpots is herd as the two make their way up. Miyabi isn't expecting much, but you didn't really give her a chance to brace herself for the onslaught of....this.]

[And after her inner artist shrieks and dies an agonizing and painful death - along with a heavy chunk of her soul - Miyabi turns to face Vash, hands on her hips. She's just gonna lay it flat out, big brother. Please don't take this the wrong way.]

Vash...please call me the moment you decide to pick up a brush again. I have a lot of work to do here.

But I couldn't pick just one - they all seemed so nice! I liked them all!

[Miyabi's just going to facepalm at that, Vash. You are sweet and adorable and she loves you, but you artistic skills make her want to cry. She opens the little sack and lays out her paints. There was a nice array of colors, too, so that'd help with setting everything right.]

Brother...there's a way to use all sorts of colors in a painting! It's not about just slapping them on one at a time. [Sigh.] Okay, let's start with the main color. What would you like your room's main color you be? The one that stands out the most. After that, I can work with what colors can compliment and accentuate it. Then the ceiling will be last.

[Clearly, dis is srs bizniz. Miyabi's talking fast, and pacing around her ink pots, tilting her head from side to side. What would be the best color, hm...]
