[Vash is a man on a mission! After talking to Katara a bit he’s gotten the itch to paint his room. He’s never really stayed in one place long enough to think about decorating a room and he can’t quite settle on a color. So for a good hour he can be found walking back and forth between the shop and his room carrying cans of paint back and forth. Then he starts to paint. He starts with red, but it’s just too much red so he adds a bit of blue. After that he tries yellow. Next he adds some green around the bottom of the wall. He likes the green - for awhile, then tries orange. Then a bit of purple.

At last he finally get gets the idea to paint the sky on his ceiling - complete with fluffy white clouds that don’t really look anything like clouds because he has no real art skill. Time to call for an expert!]

Hey Katara! How are you at painting clouds?

[The added shortly after]

You too Miyabi! I bet you could paint some good clouds!

Hey there Katara! Come on in! [So, his ceiling is blue with random spots of white on it - the walls? A crazy mess of colors - that's normal right?]

Wow... that's a lot of colors. [She's blinking around and that's just... wow.]

I couldn't pick just one! Does it... look that bad?

Well they all seemed like good colors!

[A little laughter.] Yeah, but not all at once!

[goldenglasses]

I thought it looked fun!

Well, it's your room. But -- are you sure it won't make you dizzy?

[goldenglasses]

[Stares] Why would it do that?

[markofthebrave]

[Blinks at him] All the colors. They're kind of... loud.

[goldenglasses]

Ahaha... that bad?

[markofthebrave]

[Katara winces a little -- he might notice that she's being careful to not look too long at the walls.] Uh... it's your room. If you like it, that's the important thing. And you can always paint over it if becomes too much.

[goldenglasses]

That's true... hm. I guess I'll have to try to pick just one color.

[markofthebrave]

Or at least... one per wall. Maybe we should work on them first.

[goldenglasses]

Okay! Let's paint one wall... uh, um.... hm.

[Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick.]

I can't decide.

[markofthebrave]

[Katara shakes her head.] Let's check and see how much paint you've got left first. We'll decide from there.

[goldenglasses]

[Not too much. The blue, red, and green are all just about gone. The ones still pretty much full are white and pink. He has basically any color that you could imagine there - the rest are half gone.]

[markofthebrave]

[Katara peers into the paint cans.] ...I'm guessing you don't want to paint the room pink, then.

[goldenglasses]

All of it? Not really no.

[markofthebrave]

Yeah. I don't blame you.

...Why don't we decide on some colors before going to the paint store. There are so many options there, we could be there forever.

[goldenglasses]

Okay! How about...! [Trails off staring at the paint. Nope, still can't choose.]

[markofthebrave]

...Why don't we try this, then. Since you want the clouds for the ceiling... [She'll start to bend some of the paint out of the can and on to the wall] we could make a wall blue? That way it's like a sky theme.

[goldenglasses]

[Watches a bit stunned. Don't mind his staring.]

[markofthebrave]

[After applying a thin coat of paint, Katara will glance over her shoulder to see if Vash approves... and notice the stare.]

...Oh. Never saw a waterbender before?

[Ha, ha, it's an attempt at a joke!]

No! Can't say I have! [He sounds impressed - not creeped out at least.]
