[Today after his SOS Brigade meeting, Vash will be dragging several large boxes into the square by the fountain. They are filled with all types of nerf guns and there's even a few squirt guns in there. He figures the kids here could really use some fun after the past week or two. So after taking a couple for himself he opens his journal.] Hey! There are a bunch of toys in the square~! Come out and play!

(ooc: Comment spam style! Anyone and everyone is welcome. If you try to cause violence Vash will fall out of the sky on top of your head thread jack in order to stop it.)

[Hey, you're a better shot than he would've thought. Growing up in a war zone makes him move by insticnt, but the dart bounces off of his hat - Noooooo! Not his hat! - as he dives for cover behind the fountain. Longshot scoots to the other side of it, listening closely to try and place Naoki's position without having to look for him.]

[Naoki's gonna sneak his way toward the fountain. Admittedly, he's not particularly good at the whole sneaking thing, but hey. He's at least going to try and get close enough to get a chance to fire a dart.]

[Sounds give him away. Well then. Choosing to part with his beloved hat for a short time, he carefully sets it up so that the very tip will be visible if Naoki looks closely.]

[Meanwhile, he's going to quietly sneak around the opposite side of the fountain in hopes of getting you from behind.]

[Narrowing his eyes as he sees it, Naoki's shuffles his way forward carefully--victory is imminent! Readying the gun as he sneaks to get a better place to shoot, totally oblivious of the potential attack from behind, yet.]

FFF And suddenly it's 8 AM. I will sleep now. >.> But will definitely continue when I wake up. XD

[Aiiimiiing. And waiting until you're just a little closer before he fires, in the hopes you'll be further out of range once you realize it.]

[Getting around the fountain and...lowering his gun with a bemused blink.

That's just a hat without a person and, oh snap--...that was a foam arrow that just rebounded off the side of his head, wasn't it? Naoki turns and, totally firing in the direction that arrow came from, Longshot.]

[Instead of dodging out of the way, he jumps on top of the fountain and back to the other side to retrieve his hat, firing another arrow at Naoki as he goes.]

[This has got to be the silliest thing he's ever done since play fights back when he was a Freedom Fighter. But at this point he's too amused to care.]

[Naoki can't help but grin, even as that arrow comes into contact with his forehead and elicits a tiny yelp. Mussing his hair back into place, he moves after him, intent on getting another hit in, firing off a couple foam darts at him.]

[FFF He needs to stop thinking about this like war practice, with the instinct to just get out of the way. It's not as much fun like that.]

[The darts bounce off his leg and he charges off more towards the open area of the square, only to promptly turn right around, kneel, and fire another arrow.]

[Augh, direct hit to the chest. Naoki being a dork does a dramatic little stagger before firing off a dart or two toward his hat.]

[Pft, what was that? He tries not to laugh, but an amused snort comes out anyways and- Hey! His poor headgear is taking so much damage.]

[He fires another arrow and... oh crap. Looks like it's his last one. ):]

[Naoki glances down at his own gun, woefully noting the shortage of ammo before firing the last of his darts toward him.

Of course, that's at just about the same time the arrow bonks into his head. Seriously:]

Ah...a fatal headshot.

[Now if only Longshot would realize the Crossbow can fire two kinds of ammo.]

[Also seriously, Longshot moves his hat down to cover his eyes. NO, not because he's still trying not to laugh. What gave you that idea. He is paying respect to his 'fallen combatant'.]

[Nevermind that he shot you in the head like three times. 'TWAS A GOOD FIGHT.]

At any rate, Naoki plops down on the ground in defeat. And, he's realising it's a lot easier pretending you've been bested by your opponent when laughter isn't threatening to fight it's way out of you. Like now. Naoki covers his grin with a hand.]

[Okay. Serious face is serious once again. Though one corner of his mouth does twitch from time to time.]

[Getting back to his feet, Longshot walks over and offers a hand to help you up.]

[He nods, then helps pull Naoki up with a genuine smile of his own. He feels like a stupid little kid again... but it was fun.]
