[Vash today is standing outside of Community Building Four staring up into the rain, a happy smile on his face and laughing joyfully. His arms stretched out, he’s already drenched, but doesn’t seem to mind. After a few minutes he opens his journal.]

Hey Meryl! It’s raining outside! [Would anyone care to explain to him what a raincoat is?]

That would be helpful for people who try to find those lost in the woods, but it won't do anyone any good if you make yourself sick working too hard. [Yes, he's noticing that tired look.] So don't work yourself sick.

[And he stands there confused for a moment before the coat falls off his face and into his hands. Grins at you.] Hello there naughty daughter!

I think I prefer Fair Maiden. Here. [UMBRELLA ATTACK. Well ...actually, she's nicer with that. She'll toss it carefully enough that he'll have ample time to catch it.]

Summer rain is great to stand out in, but at this time of year? Better to keep it off you.

Probably. I think you'll find that if it rains in summer a lot of people will be outside enjoying it.
