[Vash can be found wandering around the village. Where exactly? Pretty much anywhere. His goal was the repair shop to look for his gun but it’s not that he’s lost… he just doesn’t know where he is. Feel free to bug him around town.

After his shopping he’ll be coming home and while putting things away someone notices his own letter. After reading it a couple times he’ll be looking for Meryl to ask her about a couple things.]

That's how it end up for everyone. Some people here have been dead for years, and are still here now. Some people saw each other only moments ago, and they've got two years of separation here. It's... very strange.

Sometimes. It's happened before. Not often, but I know there are people here who are dead in their world. Usually, they're the ones reluctant to leave.

... But, Vash [ She sighs.] don't get excited. It's something rare. And... even if it does happen, people... I don't thin people should consider them truly alive. Once this is all over, they'll be gone again.

You can't truly bring back the dead. I think it's most painful to bring those people here, more than anyone else.
