[Early this morning the droids had swooped down on Vash during one of his regular trips through the woods. They came fast and hit hard so he had no time to give warning, but it's alright. As he was back by the afternoon, his journal falling open on the ground as he's returned. Only it shows a small boy with long, blond hair with a blindfold over his eyes, a pointy, party hat on his head, and a small strip of paper in his hand. The boy feels around blindly for a moment.]

Come on guys. Am I getting close? Why's it suddenly so cold. Knives? Rem? [A pause and he flails his arms a bit more.] ...Joey? Is this some kind of joke, because I don't really like it. [Finally he pushes up the blindfold.] Hey! This isn't the ship! [There's a pause, and suddenly a smile breaks out on the boy's face.] This is Luceti, isn't it!?

[He looks around, finally spotting the journal and quickly picking it up.] Hi everyone! The snow's all gone! I went home for a little bit, but now I'm back! Is Nicholas still here? Or Sanji?

[Then suddenly, his smile breaks into a pout.] HEY! I didn't even get a piece of cake yet! [That's just not fair!]

[Tiny Vash will be making his way to the village to explore everything again. He'll be sure to stop by the Flower Shop also the bakery and Seventh Heaven for food. Also the clothing store as his clothes aren't exactly early spring appropriate. He'll also play around the fountain for a bit. Feel free to run into him anywhere!

Of course, for the next couple weeks he'll also be staying at House 5 causing mischief for the Trigun members.]

Mm... Very boisterous. Good guy, though.

Boisterous? Isn't that bad?

Nah. [Here Naoki grins.] It just means he's a pretty noisy guy. Couldn't miss him in a crowd.

Good! I'm glad someone with my same name is a good guy! Even if he is... bois-ter-ous!

[He grins.] Yep, no worries there. I mean, everyone has their traits, huh?

That's kinda what Rem says! That we're all different in our own ways!

That's right. This Rem sounds pretty smart.

She is, very smart.

...I miss her and Knives. I wish they were here with me.

[Naoki gives him a sympathetic look.]

Hopefully it won't be too long until you see them again.

Yeah, I really miss them when I'm here, but I like it here. There's so many cool things to see and it's not quiet like the ship is. I hate how quiet and empty the ship can feel. Everything here is alive and I have so many friends here, but...

...I wish the crew and Knives where here. All the sleeping people too. Then it would be perfect.

...I like it here, too, [Naoki admits, though more curiosity comes into his expression.] The--ship?

Yeah, I live on a ship right now. We're looking for a new home.

You are...?

[Naoki pauses in asking-- Should he ask about this, especially if Vash may return to his usual self in a little while's time? He's torn by his own curiosity and his own limits he puts on himself when it comes to asking about things.]

Yeah, I hope we find some place like this. We're going to build a war where there's no war or stealing. Where everyone can live their lives in peaceful days!

[Naoki reaches out impulsively, putting a hand on Vash's head.] I hope you do. It's better when there's no fighting.

[Vash looks up with a smile.] Yeah! Much better! No one should ever have to fight!

Yeah. [His expression is faraway, for a moment, and his hand drops down. He smiles.] Nothing comes of it, really...

[...] Naoki? Are you okay?

--eh? Oh. [He clears his throat, sheepish.] Yeah, of course. Just remembering some stuff.

Like what?

I-- Fought, for a while. 'Cause I had to, but I disliked it more than anything. [Naoki doesn't like fighting--even though he knows he has to. When he has to he will, but he can't imagine ever enjoying it.] So I can understand wanting a world of peace.

It's what I was working toward.

Oh. I'm sorry. I wish nobody anywhere had to fight, ever.

No worries. [He smiles.] I wish the same, too. Maybe one of these days...

We should find a way so you can come back with me! Rem and the crew are going to make a world of peace! You can come with us!

Ah... [He's struck silent, surprised by the offer. And touched by it, kind as it is.] Thank you, [sincerely.]

But I should stay here in Luceti, a little while more.
