[Where is Vash today? Running around town trying to rip down wanted posters with his face and a reward of 60 billion double dollars for his capture dead or alive plastered on them.

Vash today is dressed in full old western cowboy gear too. His long hair tied back in a pony tail. Hidden under a big black hat. Dark black jeans, with black boots complete with spurs, and a black vest over a grey long sleeved shirt. With his trusty six shooter on his hip. One problem. He doesn't want to play the bad guy!

Of course, this would also be easy if his evil twin brother Knives wasn't around! Only, he wasn't around, was he? There are some moments in the pass day of black outs that Vash just can't quite remember now. Actually he should probably question those a bit more now that they seem to be happening more and more.]

Anyone else having memory lapses?

(OOC: Vash is struck with split personality right now. HE IS HIS OWN EVIL TWIN BROTHER! Every so often when my coin dictates Vash will becomes a rather dramatic "Knives" so don't be surprised when you get a random reply from secretbutterflylover .)

That sounds terrible to deal with. [There's a rustling, like paper being thumbed through.] I might be able to help, perhaps! Though before I offer any assistance I might.. ask. [Definitely a paper crinkle!] Are you a wanted man? I'm not sure it's a good idea to help outlaws and all..

[On 'outlaws' he sounds distinctly apprehensive! Vash could be LAYING A TRAP for innocents or something!]

Much like any traumatic injury, my non-outlaw friend, you need to know what causes it in order to effectively treat it! But yes, it's quite likely I'll be able to stop it. Or at the very least find the cause and outline a long-term treatment! But since you've only been suffering from it for ... ah, a day now, it shouldn't.. be that bad. [Surely. He sounds absolutely unconfident in this.]

So! Have you suffered any unexpected mental breakdowns, sudden emotional shocks, had the metaphorical world ripped out from under you, discovered you're a father, been brained repeatedly, or anything equally sudden and traumatic in the last two days or so?

[That's ... terribly ominous. The professor seems to consider this for a very short few moments, then, sounding terribly alarmed:]

I never asked you any of those things! [Surely it's not the same person! Though it's just as possible that yes, it is the same person, given the pushover nature he'd seen from Vash so far, more likely this fellow just STOLE his journal. Horrible!]

I'm really not interested in dying, but I do not think you should be taking things that don't belong to you, or butting in on other people's conversations! You should be ashamed!

[This would be a far more realistically stern scolding if the professor's voice didn't have that particular sort of squeak that spoke of bravery only because of a whole lot of distance between himself and the potential trouble.]

[Huh? What's up with all these posters with Vash on them? That's quite a bit of zeros following after that daunting six. But Vash? Honestly? Last being in the enclosure he'd ever figure to have a bounty on his head. Surely someone was pulling a prank on him.

But that might have something to do with whatever power he was hiding. People aren't always what they seem, and Vash has been very quiet about himself every time they've spoken. It makes him wonder. He stands in front of one of the posters looking at it for a moment in thought.]

[Eventually a man dressed like a stereotypical bad guy from a western steps besides Vegeta.] Not a bad looking guy, if he wasn't making such a stupid face.

[Doesn't do much to call your twin ugly after all.]

[He glances over making sure he's got a nice scowl painted on his face.]

That clown certainly doesn't look like he would be worth that much money, now would he? [Vegeta is also now trying to get a better look at the man under that large hat.] Not that it would be worth anything here.

Looks can be deceiving. [Perhaps even the look of the man next to Vegeta. If he only takes a quick look it may actually look just like Vash. Only, the hair is shorter and that mole is on the wrong side of his face.]

[He eventually does get a better look- but of course the shorter hair is throwing him off slightly. And the demeanor. Vash does not act like this guy at all.]

Where that may be true, I know this idiot and he is the very last being in the enclosure that I'd stamp a bounty on. But you seem pretty confident that he deserves this sort of attention.

I would say that the saying goes: Never trust the quiet ones, but he's not exactly quiet is he?

He got that bounty, when he blew away an entire city. In just one instant a city of thousands was wiped away.

I don't appreciate being lied to. [He can't believe that Vash did that. There's no way. Did he have the power to do that? Yes he did, there was no doubt about it, but he can't see why he'd destroy a city the size of West City.]

Me? You can call me Knives, as for my deal with Vash? I guess you could say I'm trying to save our family's reputation by proving one of us can at least act nobly. Can't you see the resemblance? He's my brother. Twin in fact.

Brother? [No way! But he won't argue, the resemblance is uncanny between the two of them.] Where I won't argue with you that your brother acts like a dimwit most of the time, I do find it pretty hard to believe that he would kill anyone.

Yes, he does act like that, doesn't he? I suppose it's not a bad way to fit in with people for now. [Knives shrugs, turning to leave.] You don't have to believe me if you don't want to. It makes no difference to me. You'd just come back eventually anyway.

Hey! I'm not done with you yet. [He's looking pretty irritated at this point.] What are you trying to say, that that idiot is going to destroy this enclosure? Don't you think that if he wanted to do that he'd of done it already? I don't know what kind of power you Plants think you have, but I can assure you there's far more beings here that could easily annihilate you before you could even blink.

And I'm sure there are many people in this enclosure who could be more powerful. [HA!] Of course, I suppose buying one's time and fitting in to spot those people out might be a hard act to pull off for some. Others just do it very well.
