[Vash woke up early on the morning of the 18th. His birthday. Another year in Luceti and another year older. He was what... 135, 136 now? It's a bit iffy with the way time works in Luceti. He pets the cats for a bit before moving onto his morning training. Once that's done he washes, styles his hair, finishes off breakfast, and opens the journal.]

Heyyyyyyy, Luceti! I know this place can be a bit awful sometimes, but never forget what this world and all worlds are really made of! For you see, this world is really made of--

LOVE AND PEACE! LOVE! AND! PEACE! LOVE! AND! PEACE! LOVE! AND! PEACE!

[As he shouts at the top of his lungs into the journals he also pumps his arms. Fingers spread in a V sign for peace up near his head, then the fingers cross together as he pumps his arm forward. He repeats the motion over and over as he shouts.] LOVE! AND! PEACE! LOVE! AND! PEACE! LOVE! AND! PEACE! LOVE! AND! PEACE! LOVE! AND! PEACE! LOVE! AND! PEACE! LOVE! AND! PEACE! Everybody join in! LOVE! AND! PEACE!

[He couldn't think of a better way to celebrate his birthday then by not focusing on himself, but spreading the idea of love and peace.]

[Mickey cheerfully chants right along - and Pluto is barking 'in tune' in the background.]

[Vash laughs loud and happily at hearing Pluto in the background.] Ha! HAHAHAHA! Even Pluto agrees! Good boy!

Of course he does! He likes love and peace just as much as anybody!

Why're we doin' this, anyway?

Because it's fun and a good way to remind people what's really important in this world! Not the things that happen, but the love and peace we show each other!

Or, well, something like that.

[Or something like he felt like being a dweeb and forget about his birthday.]

... Huh.

... That's good enough for me!

Perfect! Then you can join me as a hunter of peace as I hunt to find the elusive mayfly known as love!

That should be no problem, I've found tons of it! I love my dog, and I love my friends!

[Woof, says Pluto. he loves mickey too.]

[Vash tears slightly and his voice wobbles slightly with pure emotion. He's not doing this to mock Mickey in the slightest. It really does make him happy to see people focusing on love and good things then bad all the time. It just comes out in a bit of silly way when it's Vash.]

Ahh! A true natural! I'm so proud of my protégé! [Yes, Mickey. You were his pupil for all of thirty seconds. Be proud.]

[Mickey blinks, and then has to laugh a little.]

Aw shucks, I haven't been called that for a long time!

[Though Master Yensid is probably shuddering at ever being compared to someone as sunny as Vash.]

Hehe, well, you earned it! So be proud! HAHAHAHA! [And just because he's curious and even he can't yell about love and peace forever. ~~His voice would give out eventually.~~]

So what were you a protégé in before?

Magic... along with a very special weapon.

My Master Yensi, taught me so much... and he went on to teach my friends, and my gal Minnie! He's really amazin'! I was gunna see him before this world grabbed a hold of me.

I didn't know that you could use magic. And if your master taught so many people he must be a really good and popular teacher then!

I dunno about popular...

... He lies all by himself in a tower. He said he likes the solitude, but... sometimes I think he doesn't know how ta make friends, except by teaching people.

Heeeeeeey! I know! When you go back you should teach him and help him learn on to make friends! I bet you'd be a great teacher at that!

[Huh?... Mickey then starts to laugh, instantly jovial again.]

Makin' him into my protege! Now there's soemthin' I'd love ta see!

Yeah! I bet you could be really good at teaching! Then you both can be teachers and students!

Anythin's worth a try once. And my first lesson could be... Love And Peace!

Yeah! I knew I could count on you!

Don't forget to teach him the hand movement too, okay? They're really important.
