He’ll be bopping around until he starts to feel restless and move on, but he has a very important announcement to make.]

That is very unlikely. Though it is true I cannot recall things such as the day I was made what I am today, the weeks following are very clear to me, and that was well over a century ago.

My memory is quite good.

I suppose this means there shall be a celebration of sorts on that day. Although, I have never truly celebrated anything, so I would not know what to expect. What is it you did for it last year?

Ah... actually, I uh... don't usually do anything for my birthday.

You say it is not important now, and yet before... hm. I suppose I just don't understand.

There's just... too many sad memories and thoughts that go with my birthday. [Like how it's another year he's failed to take care of Knives. Another year he'll outlive everyone he cares about. Another year he has to wonder if people will start to question why he doesn't seem to age at all. Another year without Rem. Not to mention, on a rare occasion, he sometimes wonder how much happier humans might have been if he and Knives had never been born.]

...that sounds like the sort of thing that would make a creature less inclined to look forward to such a day.

Would you prefer, then, that I do forget it?

Well, you don't have to forget, I guess, I just don't do much for it.

I suppose if I thought about it long enough, I would be able to pinpoint a day closest to the one when I first became capable of feeling. Considering that day was also the day I began addressing myself as Cheyenne, it would be an appropriate substitute for my true date of birth.

That seems like a good day to pick to me!

I imagine it will take some time to deduce. It is difficult to count backwards to a date that was nearly a hundred years ago.

A-hahaha, of course, I don't expect it tomorrow or anything.

Unless the day in question happened to be tomorrow, in which case, learning of it the day after would be rather pointless.

Well, we could always have a belated birthday party!

I suppose, but if the date is one I am choosing, for what reason would there be to intentionally choose a day that would not be convenient?

...or perhaps I am merely over-thinking things.
