He also doesn’t stop to visit the bakery. The item shop and grocery store are fair game, and so is the bar. He’ll be bopping around until he starts to feel restless and move on, but he has a very important announcement to make.]

Hey, everyone! It was Naoki’s birthday last week. Not a fun week for a birthday, so we need a party to celebrate it the right way. If you’re a friend of Naoki, seen him on the street, or just want to meet him? You’re invited! How about… two days from now! On the ninth in house number thirty one! Has anyone heard from Flonne in a while? I haven’t seen her around the flower shop at all lately.

[That's fine, Vash would rather he didn't pick up on it anyway. He's in: Pretend bad things don't happen and they'll go away mode.] Yeah, well, he has so many friends I wasn't sure if I'd know everyone to invite, and it just seemed rude to say: Naoki's friends only! So this way no one feels left out and he could maybe make more friends.

And besides; I doubt that many people who don't know him are really going to show up.

You still should've asked around at first. [He's just grumbling because he knows he's gonna be making most, if not all the food for this little get-together. Not that he honestly minds]

Anyway, you said two days... Need cakes, drinks, appetizers... And I still gonna get him a present.

And don't worry too much about appetizers and such. I asked everyone to bring a little something with them to pass around. That should help.
