[Today was good and windy out. The perfect chance for Vash to try to contact Kipinn. So today he’s found himself sitting in the middle of a clearing, eyes shut as he tries to contact the spirit. Only problem? He’s never been good at sitting still in a meditative like state. So his mind starts to wander.

Just little thoughts here and there. Wondering what Meryl might be cooking for dinner tonight. Friends he should try to reconnect with. Man, it‘s really cold out. Hopefully he‘ll hear Kipinn soon, maybe he should have brought a hat out with-

…Legato. [Vash’s face grows dark and he tries his best to keep the man and what he’s said out of his mind, but now that he’s started, he just can’t stop. He thought he had gotten past this, but now with Legato here... can he really fix such a huge mistake?

And it was a mistake. He didn’t see a better way in time!
Don’t you want to face what you have done?
He wasn’t ignoring it! He moved on. Dwelling forever on it wouldn’t help!
I don’t want to be forgotten.
How could he forget!?

So for the next couple hours until he can get himself back under control. Vash can be found with a grimace on his face changing from upset to angry at himself now and then.]

Sometimes I wish there WAS money here. It would make it feel a lot less like we were being kept in a zoo or something.

I don't know, I kinda like it! I get all the donuts I can eat now instead of afford. [Or you know... he can eat all the workers at the bakery can make. Oh yeah, and that whole thing about the bounty on his head being worthless now. That's pretty great too.]

[Said teasingly, but she means it. He is so much more chivalrous than the average New Yorker. April walks inside, breathing deeply; nothing better than the smell of fresh baked stuff.]

I do my best! [Was that teasingly? Yeah, he's acting like he totally missed it as he follows you in and also takes a deep breath. On the smell of fresh baked goods he couldn't agree more.] So were you able to decided? Cookies or donuts? Or both!

[Vash goes ahead and orders two dozen of each of the cookies and an order of donuts.] I could bring some home to my friends too.

[Vash sighs a bit dramatically before ticking off with his fingers.] A loud and food-hogging priest and a loud, 'everything is Vash's fault' insurance agent.
