[Today was good and windy out. The perfect chance for Vash to try to contact Kipinn. So today he’s found himself sitting in the middle of a clearing, eyes shut as he tries to contact the spirit. Only problem? He’s never been good at sitting still in a meditative like state. So his mind starts to wander.

Just little thoughts here and there. Wondering what Meryl might be cooking for dinner tonight. Friends he should try to reconnect with. Man, it‘s really cold out. Hopefully he‘ll hear Kipinn soon, maybe he should have brought a hat out with-

…Legato. [Vash’s face grows dark and he tries his best to keep the man and what he’s said out of his mind, but now that he’s started, he just can’t stop. He thought he had gotten past this, but now with Legato here... can he really fix such a huge mistake?

And it was a mistake. He didn’t see a better way in time!

He wasn’t ignoring it! He moved on. Dwelling forever on it wouldn’t help!

How could he forget!?

So for the next couple hours until he can get himself back under control. Vash can be found with a grimace on his face changing from upset to angry at himself now and then.]

[A sage wanders nearby, noticing Vash's expression and can't help but be concerned. He stops and stands beside Vash, looking him over carefully, unsure of how to greet him.]

[Action] I'll take Forest for 200 Alex. XD As I doubt he'd go THAT far away right now.

[Vash wrestles with himself a bit longer, when his "someone is there, check to make sure they don't want to shoot you stupid!" sense goes off. He'll open an eye to peer at who is nearby.]

No, everything is alright, just trying to contact the spirits here. [Goofy grin.] It's harder than I thought it'd be.

[He can see right through that goofy grin, but also takes it as a hint that he doesn't want to talk about his problem.]

The Filial spirits? Yes, I should continue with that myself. I should reestablish contact with Nala, and make an effort to contact Kipinn next.

[Lost in the woods? Never! April would NEVER admit she is lost in the woods. Ever. Still--she's relieved when she happens upon Vash in the clearing. At least it's not the same clearing she's been coming back to over and over again as she wanders in circles.]

Yeah, well, I'm amazing at getting across Manhattan at rush hour. But somehow I got turned around in here. And I'm pretty sure I could hear some woodchucks laughing at me. You want some company? [That question should actually be a statement: "Thank God I found a human being at last, and now I am not letting you out of my sight." She takes a seat next to him. Screw invitations.]

Why not, I was just trying to contact Kipinn, the wind spirit here, but I don't think he has much interest in contacting me.

[A pause, then.] That and it's getting a little chilly out, I thought maybe I'd head back to town soon if you'd like to walk with me. [Sneaky way of saying: I can lead you back.]

Well, if you insist, SURE I'll walk with you! [She gets up and brushes twigs off her pants.] I think he was trying to contact me. Or at least trying to mess up my hair. Does that count as the same thing?

Maybe, I heard they like to play jokes now and then. [Vash stands up as well.] Or maybe it's just windy, either way I think your hair is just as radiant as ever.

[His eyes snap open when he hears Ami's voice and easily slips an embarrassed smile over his face.] Oh, Ami! It's alright! I'm fine!

Well, there are a couple different spirits here. I'm pretty good friends with the Earth spirit, so I thought it'd be a good idea to know the others too. [And their magic.]
