[Vash is trying to get the last of his Christmas shopping done and can be spotted in the various shops trying to get ideas. But as he comes up lacking still he decides he needs cheering up and opens his journal.]

They did. If you're lucky, sometimes you'll get a writer who doesn't completely ignore it. Granted, half of the time when that happens, they try to pass it off as you just trying to make sure no one thinks you're gay, but the other half actually does pay attention to it.

Don't worry though, Sanji. Even though I read that stuff sometimes, I still think you're straight.

See, that's their main reason for it too! They compare the way you two fight to a bunch of raging hormones and stuff. Or like how kids will pick on someone when they really like them? It doesn't make sense to me entirely - if anything, I see it more as a brotherly rivalry.

The One Piece series. It's where you come from. And a flashback is basically what it sounds like - it's a look back at things that happened to you guys in the past.

Okay, you're from the North Blue too. What I meant was... okay, let's say my universe is called Boring? Your universe is called the One Piece series. As for the flashbacks, maybe you think about them? They serve to explain to the rest of us though about things that happened to you in the past.

And I'm Pi! No, we haven't actually met before. In my universe though, your universe is kind of like a book people get to read about.

Just the fanbase and readers in general - not everyone writes. It's a really amazing story! So many people love it.

And you're taking this a lot better than some of the people I tried explaining it to! I really appreciate you not trying to beat me up for it - or just argue, since I know you'd never hit a lady.
