GAH!!! Where’d it go! Oh man… it has to be around here somewhere! Milly is going to be so upset if I’ve lost it! How could I have lost something so BIG so- and my clothes?! Where… where’d it all go! I wasn’t asleep THAT long was I? It was just a nap…

Huh… those are new… [a short pause] Yeoch! And sensitive…

It’s GOTTA be around here SOMEWHERE! [That’s definitely the sound of someone digging… and the sound of something falling on the unnoticed journal. Feel free to interrupt him before he buries his journal under a mountain of snow.]

[ Meryl will be sitting in a chair at the welcome center, wrapped in a blanket with her knees pulled up to her chest, being patient and waiting. ]

[Looking around the room. Meryl... Meryl... Me-HEY! It's a Meryl!] MERYL! It really is you!

[ Meryl stands up, excited, though she's looking pretty tired and red around the eyes and nose. She looks a little different, too, having not cut her hair in a while, about touching her shoulders now. But she's still the same old Meryl, smiling wide at him. ]

Vash... it's good... it's good to see you!

[Stares curiously at the hair. Didn't he just see her a couple days ago?

Oh! And this is Luka Megurine!! She helped me out of the forest!

[Aproaches and smiles.] Nice to meet you, Miss. I'm glad Vash has someone here already.

[ She holds the blanket around her with one hand and waves to Luka with the other. ]

Pleased to meet you. Thanks for taking care of him.

Otherwise I might have froze to death! [Totally laughing loud enough for the entire room to hear... and possibly people outside...]

[Eyes Vash, she doesn't think that's a laughing matter.] It seems they didn't leave his clothes around like usual. Maybe they will appear at the shops in a few days.

[So she hopes.] I'll go ask if they have clothes to lend to Vash. [brb asking for clothes?]

[ She nods, looking Vash over. She hasn't seen him in so long. She looks wistful. ] We'll find him something, regardless. Don't worry. It's probably in the shops, along with the rest of his things. We can go and look for them.

[Okay - serious mode again]

Think Wolfwood's cross will be there? [Still feeling somewhat guilty that he lost that]

[ She sniffles and covers her nose a moment, thinking she was going to sneeze. She relaxes as the feeling passes, then smiles softly. ]

I'm sure it would be, actually. Stranger things have appeared there.

I hope so...

And are you sure you're alright? I'm sorry you had to come out to find me. You should probably be in bed.

Ah... I decided not to cut it, to see how it looks...

[Returns with clothes.] We found some clothes, though we aren't sure if they are the proper size, here. [Gives them to Vash.]

It looks nice long.

[VERY happily takes the clothes. He's not use to showing off so much of his ~~scars~~ skin. They'll probably be a little tight but he won't complain!] That's much better! Thanks again Luka!

[ She glances at the clothes and how awkward they look on him. She sneezes, then smiles a bit afterward. ]

They're fine for now. We'll find your coat. It'll be warmer, anyway.

[Eyes Vash and the clothes.] Well I don't think there's a bigger size so yeah, that should do for now. I'm sure you will find clothes of your size at the store though, or even yours directly.
