[Action//Accidental Voice]
[Today Vash was out enjoying the snowfall. He hit the usual places, the flower shop, the bakery, Good Spirits for a drink. He did a little people watching near the fountain before finally hitting the item shop. Where he found a pair of skates that just happened to be his size.
He thought it over for a bit, then decided: what else did he have to do today? So off he went towards the nearest lake and strapped the ice skates on. Only he found out fairly quickly that ice skates don't work so well when the ice is covered in snow.
So after putting his boots back on, another trip back to the item shop, he returns with a shovel and clears an area. Alright! He can do this! He puts the ice skates back on, stands up, and-
-promptly falls over.]
WHAAAAAAAAAA! [Over and over again. He'll slowly start to get the hang of it, but feel free to come and laugh or help him until that point. At one point his journal will even fall out of his pocket. So feel free to also point and laugh at him from the comfort of your own, warm home!]
Yiyiayiyiaia Ow. That really hurt.

The clumsy blond, of course, caught his attention. The repeated cries and falls brought a laugh out of him, but he couldn't help himself after the third one.
The poor man was obviously having trouble. Though unfamiliar with winter sports himself, he was also a good kid. He decided to try to help.
It only took a few portal jumps to get down to the edge of the lake. Waving his small arms, he called out to the man.]
Hellooo! You look like you're having trouble!!
[There's a smile on his face and in his voice. Vash may be confused by the glowing blue portals that he used to get there, and by the supremely epic and cool hat--he doesn't mind. He just wants to be helpful.]

What are you trying to do? Not fall? [His smile is slightly mischievous. He's trying to make a joke.]
no subject
Uh, yeah. I think that's the point of ice skating at least. I've never really done it before.
And how did you get here?

[With a quick, circular motion of his hands, he opens a portal before him. A secondary one is also opened, and tossed to a place a couple of yards above Vash's head. He jumps in--
And lands on Vash's shoulders.]
Like that. Pretty cool, isn't it?
no subject
He ends up going down in a split for his efforts. OH GOD IT HURTS. His voice is just a LITTLE strained and at a higher pitch when he speaks.]
Yeah... cool... please get off me now.
no subject
[He steps off of the man's shoulders, feeling a little embarrassed to have caused this---and sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiides.] Wha--What? [He takes a step and--] Aaa~aaaiii! [falls backward.]

Winters are mild in my home, we didn't have time to stop and play the last time I was in the snow. Usually I'd help my Papa in the inn, because travelers don't want to camp in the winter.
...are you okay?

no subject
Yeah, Papa owns an inn. I'd help him in the kitchens a lot, actually. He taught me how to cook, although he can't do everything. He can't bake a loaf of bread without burning it!
no subject
no subject
Yeah, it is. There's a bakery in town, though; Papa would have me run over there to get bread every morning.

He continues talking, mostly for a distraction.]
Yeah, but he was a really good cook. He makes the best stew in my village--no, maybe the whole country! I did learn how to bake, though...so maybe when I return home I can help him with baking.

and face plants in the snow.
He looks up, flushing with embarrassment.]
Sorry!!
no subject
Luckily for Yugo, he doesn't squish him for very long as he's immediately rolling off the kid to throw up that morning's donuts in the snow. What a waste!]
no subject
Sorry! That wasn't supposed to happen!

Sorry, it happens to almost everyone!

[He hangs his head.] Sorry.
