[The floor had been quiet. Vash hadn't seen Adela for several days now and that worried him. So when he opened her apartment door he wasn't sure if he was happy or not to see it empty except for a few letters that he found inside. She was home where she belonged, but it was going to be a hard post to make.

After a few moments to put his own thoughts in order he opens his journal and speaks calmly. Not completely businesslike, but someone in control.]

I just found out that Adela has been returned home. I'm sorry for all those who knew her and those that didn't get the chance to. She was a great person and I know will be missed. She left some notes for a few people.

[A brief pause as he picks up the letters and starts to read out the names.] Vegeta and Bulla Brief, Rock Lee, Saori Kimura, Jean Kirstein, Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin, Android 17, Iroh, and Ventus.

If you don't know who I am, I'm Vash and I use to share the same floor as she did. You can find me on the fourth floor of the ice building. Feel free to stop by anytime to collect your letters. Just let me know when you think you'll be stopping by and I'll be sure to be home, alright?

[Vash will be around for a bit with his journal open to listen for replies. Anyone interested in passing Vash by in normal life can also find him later hanging out at the bakery eating some doughnuts in memory of Adela. Then another trip to the flower shop as the flowers usually cheer him up.]

[It's not the first time he's gotten a note from someone leaving, but there's work to be done and goodbyes were pretty routine. He'd read it when he got home from training.]

[It takes Vash a few minutes to find a pen before he responds.]

Alright. I'll go ahead and do that.

[There's no message back. Vash seems serious enough that he doesn't feel that there will be any foolery, so he leaves it at that. He'd seen the accidental broadcast from Vash a while back, makig note of it with the knowledge he had of the outlaw, so he feels it's best that he doesn't say anything more, not that he wanted to anyway.

And even if he had, it wouldn't of been nice.]

That's a pity, I actually liked her. But at least she's back home where she belongs.

She was a very nice person. I think I would have a hard time finding someone who didn't like her. But I agree, I'm glad she's safe at home now. Although she'll be very missed.

[Seventeen takes a moment before responding to this. The first part coming across his mind is her departure. It's kinda a shock to him. Not bad as when Eighteen left, but it still leaves a bad after taste. The next part thought, a letter addressed to him? Please hold while all the questions stirs in his mind. After a moment passes, he responds and his tone questionable.]

A letter?

[Pretty much a shocker for good reasons.]

[Vash knows the feeling Seventeen is having all too well. It always hurt when friends left and Vash himself had been a bit surprised to see a letter addressed to himself. It had been a long time since he had one of them.] Yeah. I haven't read it. I'll be here all day so feel free to come on in. The door will be unlocked.

[Seventeen wouldn't call her a friend. He doesn't need friends. In over all, he isn't trying to be a jerk right now. He'll pick it up sometime today.]

Adela's gone? Th-that is a shame. I guess that means there's an empty workstation at the Slash 'n' Crash then.

[It just means Sokka will have to work all the harder to make up the slack.]

I'm afraid so. [And Vash can't help by to smile sadly at hearing Sokka's voice. He knew he had come back and without his memory. It was still nice to hear a voice he knew.] I hope that won't make you too busy. I'm sure she really enjoyed working with you.

Well... I can't say I worked with her that long. A case of bad timing. But I hope so. She was so... quiet. [Ah well, what can you do?]

I'm sure it'll get better with time. I still need to get back into the hang of it.

[ When he arrives at the flower shop, he'll find that Raine has been busy, puttering around with varied tasks. There are some crafting supplies that haven't been put away just yet, as Raine is temporarily preoccupied with checking up on the plants after learning that Grune left on a mission.

She glances up when he passes by her line of sight. ] Hello, Vash.

Hey there, Raine. Staying busy, I see. [The smile slips easily on his face. The flowers and a friend being what he needed at the moment.] Need a hand with anything?

I'm trying, anyway. Would you mind giving me a hand with the supplies? I did a run to the item shop earlier, but then I remembered that Grune wouldn't be around for a while...

Sure, I'd be happy to. Just tell me what you need and where. [And as happy he is to be useful, he can't just ignore the empty space in the shop.] I really hope she's doing alright out there.
