He’ll be bopping around until he starts to feel restless and move on, but he has a very important announcement to make.]

I wasn't exactly avoiding it. I was checking out the empty houses. A friend of mine's birthday was last week. Trying to have a party to make up for such a crappy week. [And it wasn't avoiding - it was giving you space! Which okay, is basically avoiding.]
