[Vash is trying to get the last of his Christmas shopping done and can be spotted in the various shops trying to get ideas. But as he comes up lacking still he decides he needs cheering up and opens his journal.]

Used to it. Just as she's used to have a master that tells her what to do instead of having to depend on "free will".

Even without me, back at her world she would be taken to improve her or fix her by her creators. From something minor like making a backup of her database so if she malfunctions she can be fixed, to something drastic like a memory reset.

She has her free will now. And I won't let anyone take it from her.

Does she have it, really? Are you sure? Can you tell where her program ends and where starts the real Luka, if there is any at all?
