To be completely and utterly honest, yeah, you guys are.

That doesn't mean we don't love you dearly, though I'm sure you won't find that to be much of a consolation.

Well I can't speak for all the muns, but I prefer putting Sanji in situations that will help him grow as a person. Otherwise he'd just stumble in his own stupidity. It's experimenting, but it's for his own good.
