[Accidental Voice]
["A word in my defense, Captain. Apples seem to be very popular this time of year."
He knew this dream. He knew it as more than a dream. A memory. The way the kids bit into the apples he bought instead of the ice cream they had demanded. Those young lives so full of energy and life. They had been so kind. Looking out for each other and the people who lived in the city with them.
It was a good city. It had been a great city. One of the largest on the planet. Filled with so many different lives and voices. He had played with those kids and they had so easily welcomed him into their group. What had he done for them in return?
"Oh. Hey, Vash."
What had he done in return?]
[A green eyed cat watches as her pet tosses and turns in his bed. He was usually so quiet when he slept that this was all just a bit unnerving to her. She tries a few meows to try to wake him, but it fails and she moves to jump onto him. Only as Kuroneko jumps from the desk to the bed Vash's journal falls to the floor. It shows nothing but the darken floor, but the audio picks up everything for those up early around 3am.
It starts off with unintelligible moaning. The very keen ears might be able to pick up a few words like: Stop. Light. And jumbled pleading. It grows in intensity and volume until suddenly the mutter stops and instead breaks into a scream.]
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH-AHHHHHHHHHHHH! GRAHHHHAAAH! NOT AGAIN! PLEASE NOT AG- [The scream cuts off as Vash fully awakens. Unable to catch his breath and breathing rapidly for a moment before the sounds of his feet hit the floor and they go running off out of the room followed by a door being slammed open. The audio goes quiet after that until Vash is finished emptying his stomach and returns to his room. Crying softly as he does.
Alert him to his open journal? Or for those who would rather speak to Vash in person the next day he'll be people watching at the fountain. Only lacking his usual cheerful smile and lost in distant thought as he sits on the fountain's edge.]

Voice (although i'm sure it'll be action fairly soon...)
[Mickey is in instant panic mode. He's grabbed the journal and bolted out of his room, determined to get there while still talking on the journal.]
Vash, what happened?!
Voice (Sure! Who better to help with a nightmare than Mickey Mouse?!)
When he finally answers it starts out a bit breathless, because he is. From the terror of the nightmare, screaming and vomiting he's a little spent at the moment.]
It's okay. [A pause as he tries to gather up a bit more energy to not sound so wiped out.] I'm alright. [A small smile forces it's way onto his face even though the last thing he wants to do with the memories currently filling his head. Yet, smiling and getting others to worry is all he knows how to do. It's so much a habit for him now after over a hundred years he doesn't know how to stop it.]
Really, just a bad dream. [He chuckles softly, trying to show it was nothing to worry about. How silly it all is as he tries to stop the tremors running through him.] I'm alright now. I'm sorry I woke you up.
Voice
Jump and climb on every single windowsill of every single room of every single building until he finds Vash! What, you wouldn't?]
No, you're not all right, Vash! And you shouldn't be alone! So you just stay where ya are!

She had her journal open next to her, enjoying a bowl of cereal, and in her drowsiness, barely noticing the sound of Vash's voice coming from the journal.
And then came the screaming. It came so suddenly to Karis that it caused her to reel back in her seat, enough to where she'd find the chair falling back and taking her with it, but not before kneeing the table first and letting that spoon in her hand fly.] Oooooooooooooow.
[Well that went over well. Karis hoisted herself up, though her hand smacked against the journal, her voice loud and clear.] By the archmages! Vash!? Was that you? You alright there? [Karis is wide awake now and full of concern, but also can't shake the feeling that she thought she heard his voice also coming from the floor below her.]
[Voice]
Hopefully she won't be too unnerved for the couple minutes of silence that follows her call to him. He should also maybe apologize for the loud music that shook his apartment earlier this month as that scream did come just below her.]
[Voice-->Action]
[No time to clean up the mess, she's up and out her door as quickly as her feet are willing to carry her. Karis heads down a flight and knocks on almost each door, hoping that she'll choose the right one.] Vash!

Vash, are you all right? That sounded like a pretty bad nightmare...
[Voice]
Yeah. I'm fine. I'm sorry I woke you up. [He sighs as he tries to find a clock to tell him the time.] It must be pretty early if this clock actually tells the right time anymore.
[Voice]
Besides, this isn't the first time someone has woken me up in the middle of the night before. I'm kind of used to it by now.

In the dark and quiet of her house she just listens, for a while, sleep fading from her mind to be replaced by a bit of worry and a lot of listening - for the return of the person who screamed. When he does come back, she waits a few moments before saying anything:]
That sounded like a bad one. [She's whispering, it's three in the morning.] You okay?

Vash, what's wrong, what happened?
[The next few sounds are... well they're pretty much heartbreaking. Abel goes silent for a moment, before speaking again, his voice low and soft]
Vash? Are you alright?

He'd have called out to him then and there, but he stops himself. Instead, he'll wait for the man to catch his breath. His voice is calm and even as he gently calls out to him.]
Hey? ... Everything okay over there?
[voice]
[Voice]
Vash? Vash, calm down. It's alright. You're just in Luceti.
