[Vash today is standing outside of Community Building Four staring up into the rain, a happy smile on his face and laughing joyfully. His arms stretched out, he’s already drenched, but doesn’t seem to mind. After a few minutes he opens his journal.]

Hey Meryl! It’s raining outside! [Would anyone care to explain to him what a raincoat is?]

[ She yelps. So much for keeping dry, her legs are kind of soaked now. ]

Jeez... your splash is twice the size of mine.

[ She laughs. And she does, but she's waiting for an opportune moment to use them. ]

[And somehow they make it to the shop - hooray! He'll head in and look around for a jacket.]

[ She'll go in and start poking around for his coat on the opposite side of the room. ]

[He pulls a coat out of the pile spotting what he thought was a red coat, but when he holds it up turns out it's a white coat with red and pink spots on it.] ...I hope this isn't the only one.

Ppfffff...

[ She looks over and stifles laughter. Her head turns quickly, holding it in as she tries to distract herself from the thought of him in that. ]

Please tell me there's another one. [The question is - do you keep looking or tell him no and force him to wear it?]

[ Ohhh she is tempted to tell him no, but she smiles a little, a few small chuckles leaking out. She'll buy herself some time to decide on it. ]

Hm-- hehe-- mn, uuh let me look some more. Hold on.

[Stares at the evil lying coat for a few more moments before he starts looking again himself.]

Nothing else yet, Vash!

OH! There's one! [Practically skips over to where he sees a hanging yellow raincoat. Except when he pulls that one out it's obviously made for a women and will never fit him. Man, he's bad at this.]

[ Okay, this time she starts laughing. She fishes into the coat rack and pulls out a brown rain coat. It seems like it might be a little small, but could fit him. ]

Here, try this one.

[Anything better than pink spots. Takes it and shrugs it on - pulling at the sleeves a bit. It's a little short, but not too bad.] What do you think?

[ She touches his arm and tugs on one of the sleeves. ]

Not bad. I can probably take these out at little for you.

You think so? [No pink spots!?]

[ Not unless she paints some on. ]
